Hey y’all. Gonna be using this thread to document my Space Monkey F2 project. My plan is to get around 32 individuals together for an open pollination and then make selections from there. It’s gonna be a little ambitious of a project but I have the space so might as well use it
Soaking the seeds right now and already have 5 females from a pack I started a few months ago.
Should be more than enough to get the number I’m looking for. Gonna grow them out and make clones as soon as I can. The goal is to start flowering by the end of the year.
This race to space is definitely on—good luck with the mission!

I’m running a Space Monkey grow: opened a pack of 12 and ended up with 3 solid females, two came out with flaws, and the rest turned out male. I’m in the third week of flower now, aiming for my first reproduction. Hopefully I can collect pollen in the coming days, and if all goes well, I can also send some your way to crack open a bit more of this genetic treasure chest.
Ended up with 32. More than enough for the number I’m looking for. 2 or 3 of them are runts I likely won’t keep so I’ll pick 2 or 3 out of the 5 that I already have to replace them.
Quick update for now. I kept 29 of the ones I started from seed and I have 3 females from my last grow to get us to 32. Gonna be topping them soon for the first time. Other than that they’re coming along just fine.
