Still lots of bud at least, so not a total loss
But yeah I would not advise growing them with anything you donāt want to be seeded I never found a nanner one
Chopped and drying . Will collect seeds in a few days
Peace All. Is any1 still growing this MWcb? I have not seen many reports of such and was curious as to why. I have a pack of the MWCB and the MWCB/Shishkaberry mix and was looking to try soon, just not trying to have any herms or unknown males pop up. Thanks for reading. Be safe
Peace
I got those from one of sebrings drops. My shiskaberry seeds didnāt germinate, and the MWCB were a mixed up batch.
There was some cross contamination and herm plants popping up on those .
@7ANJA7OD
I grew mwcb outdoors two summers ago. It was completely finished by the end of October. I grew out two, and neither had intersex issues. It was very productive, nice terps(sprite soda-ish), nice all around high. My seeds came from Swami. I still vape it most days.
In the beginning there was Everyday Haze and Humboldt Sour Diesel X Mowie Wowie and tomatoes among other vegies and lo, it was good, maybe even very good, hopefully excellent.
A volunteer from my Durban Poison patch that had been fertilized with various others. Humboldt Sour D X Durban Poison This little volunteer sprouted in February so i just had to keep her. Everyday Haze Snow Peas! Tomatoes and beets. Just the beginning in the little greeenhouse. All veggies will end up outside but iāll keep the pot in pots making it easier to deal with males. Will plant a Sour Apple auto in June.Any updates?
Yea ! sounds like a good strain just got Malwi x Panama looking forwars to run them> have to get a few more long flower timers first
The Everyday Haze (Left Hand Seeds) took forever to bud. (Good sign of a real Sativa) Good thing I had one in the little greenhouse or it would have drowned in our heavy rains. The buds are very open, almost feathery, being impatient, I almost threw out the whole plant. But i didnāt. Dried it and just smoked a few tiny bowls in my little bubbler and YUM! Glad I didnāt. My guitar playing never sounded so good! Was high n happy from 2:30 to 8 PM Excellent soft landing. The volunteer Durban Poison became a huge bush that over grew the corn! Who doesnāt like a huge plant? But the first smoke was just so-so. Maybe needs curing time - but Iām wondering about the idea of bigger means energy goes to trunk and branches rather than buds. But i do know, compost, worm castings with a little Cal/Mag, A&E makes for very healthy plants.
The vegies - cherry tomatoes didnāt really come until October here and never stopped. Broccoli excellent and will continue through winter shooting little side buds. Had some red (not hot) peppers.
The giant D.P. that killed the corn.
Afterā¦
The plants growing in the little greenhouse.
Hard to tell, but on the right are Humboldt Sour D. on the left the Everyday Haze. The E.H. eventually grew to the top and then some. Even with lots of dew, no bud rot or P.M.
A FEW branches drying. Filled a bunch of jars. Donāt know what Iām going to do with all of it. If the D.P remains so-so itāll end up in bedtime cookies or maybe dry sift into hash. If at least āpretty goodā or a b- rating, Iāll give away much as I can.
What am i to do with this??!! Most of those jars hold 2 zās of dried bud
Next season Iā'll be crossing my good D.P. from last year with the E.H. to see if i can get the quality to mature sooner. (D.P. matures between late August and late September.) Iāll try corn by itself.
Whirled Peas, please.
P.S. The Sour Apple auto, in a 3 gal pot came in small and sweet. Very good with little to no work. Never had a problem with Humboldt Seed company seeds. Good people too.
Outstanding job! Looks like quite a haul.
Thereās a shorter pheno in there, but with a lot of OT haze in the genetics, youāll get your share of big, late sativa like that one.
If youāre interested, Iāve got some Panama haze BX2s I could send your way.
Thanks! Iāll try some of my last harvest Durban Poison and if itās good, we can swap. If itās so so- My 2021Durban came out very good and iā'll send you some of them. (I donāt know how to classify it F2, 3,4. Original seeds were stable. Iāll know more tomorrow (Sunday) and contact you here.
I had decent results with the mwcb outdoor in Hawaii it tastes variously like cherry cough syrup & burnt rubber. The high is great it mellow in potency, probably retained Cbd over a lot of later hybrids.
Heard that the mw was Oaxacan brought over to Maui by the BOEL. There it was Kula Cripplerā¦it went on to Santa Cruz ca & became Maui wowie there.
I got a few beans in mine & harvested at 8.5 wk
Went to the beach today tried a little of the later harvested harvested Durban Poison X Humboldt Sour D? or just anothert Durban Poison? Whichever, was pretty good. Nice walk, blue sky, little breeze, just wonderful - on the phone with sisterā¦walk back - driving was a trip. Almost too much. Wonāt do again with this weed. Fun on the guitar. Still floating down some 6 1/2 hours later with a little Jim Beam extra age and a dram of Jaegermeister on top. So life is pretty mellow right now.
So anyway, lets trade a few beans. Panama hae sounds interesting. Howz it do for you?
Iām not real up on PMing but i guess i can figure it out.
Sounds like you found the right pace of life! Cheers to that.
The Panama haze bx2 is from the same line as the everyday haze, but backcross one more generation with my Panama haze mom. If you get a pheno like the mom, itās a sort of lemon haze. I find it more incense and spicy than churchy/musty haze (if that makes any sense).
EDH is that mom backcrossed once like panama haze x (panama haze x malawi/panama). So then I took a male selection that looked close to the mom and gave her another go to make the panama haze bx2 seeds.
Sounds organizedā¦HA! The Everyday Haze pheno (f) I grew turned out excellent. I should have topped it, maybe twice. Took forever (to me) but didnāt ask for much of anything. Iāve been trying to X my Humboldt Sour D with D.P. so it will mature sooner. Iām fairly sure the big bush (volunteer) is a D.P. (f) X HSD(m) but could also beX with EH. I used a cotton swab to pollinate two branches and marked them with tape, but several other buds on different branches had seeds so i guess some pollen got in the air. Anyway, either way I topped it twice early on and it just blew up and took about 3 weeks longer to mature. So i know that one of the two (HSD or EH) are the pollinators. If the crosses come up a bit more lanky with looser buds, Iāll guess the X was EH. If pretty much like this year, then Iāll guess the HSD. The EV & HSD have similar highs for me, very up, fun, creative if i concentrate.
Iām so jealous. Iām just in awe looking at all of these conversations.
