Maui Wowie : Cherrybomb

I used to take my plants out of dirt and wash the dirt from the roots to transfer them into DWC. Takes a lil bit longer for them to bounce back but it works just as long as there healthy.

I think the same way. Geting confused with peoples threads. And if they lable there pics I dont know if they are labled at the bottom textbook style or at the top. One thing that drives me nuts is they will start at the bottom of the pic and start labeling at the top lol. Im sure I used to be guilty of this untill it started agervating me reading sometimes.
I just post the main strain that Iā€™m paying the most artention to and post some of the others here and there as long as there ant to many.
Your plants are coming along nicely.

Maybe I try DWC soonā€¦ you know Iā€™ve been thinking of this for a while. Just canā€™t afford a transition currentlyā€¦

Iā€™m glad Iā€™m not the only one confused in the threads sometimes. Ok this is good newsā€¦ maybe I stick to one journal per project like I intended and people can go to each one if they want.

That was my goalā€¦ less confusion haha! With lots of greenage things get clustered

Your not alone. Some people have a shit ton of plants. Iā€™m sure they loose track of what they got.

Even with labeling I lose track stillā€¦

ā€œOoo this one is so pretty. Iā€™m gonna call you something totally irrelevant 2 plants now just so I can confuse myself later onā€¦ ur name is Stripeā€

It donā€™t help if your not familiar with the name of the strain either. There are well over 700 strains. Thatā€™s what google said anyway. I think its closer to 1400 if you count the same strain but in auto form.

Yep I hear that! I always try to mark above the pic, in bold, what each plant is. Numbered too if possible. I always name strain + #, as I find I have the same issue. Not knowing what anything is.

I have done the same for DWC transfer. Washed off soil and stuck em in DWC. Worked out pretty well but I have issues with my city water and hydro. Some bacteria or something, I have to run sterile with calcium hypochlorite or I get rot within a couple hoursā€¦ That being said, Iā€™m having much better luck with ebb and flow/flood and drain table, over the DWC I usually do. Water is way more stable for much longer periods, and thereā€™s significantly less chances for root rot. Significantly less work too.

@mistergrafik That Oaxacan is beautiful  Nice selections on the MWCB too! Youā€™re making me wanna go through that pack. Definitely looking less indica to me and that should be a win

Your thread is one that is very organized 2 look through I enjoy the holy garden :sunglasses:

Yes these are beautiful plants really! I tortured a few in the processā€¦

I have found a real nice male. Maybe going to flowering it out here soon to check for some things - gather some pollens and make a cross back to the Oax fem :seedling:

What ya think?

Brief intermission. Funny because we are talking about confusing people.

Ah! Did they forget? I surely almost did. Which means these are meant 4 the underworld. Ohello Berry with no maintenance and very harsh weather -

Smol champions!

Oh yeah, Oaxacan BX for the MWCB sounds like a for sure win! Should get out anything from the primate OG if it wasnā€™t a pure MWCB seed, and may get you some lightning bolts real quick ^^

Worst case you get more seeds to hunt through for cherry leaners

Ok it shall be done !

This may take a whileā€¦ :laughing::leaves:

Also thanks for answering my question at the same time! I thought it was Aloha but itā€™s Primate -

Still going 2 flower it out firstly regardless

Happy Saturday my friends! Good news I finally made decisions. I decided the female Maui x we found is going to go into the back of the lineā€¦ For flowering.

I have some really exotic lines Iā€™ve been trying to tame and it doesnā€™t seem right at this point 2 just neglect them for this particular Maui x.

The males however are on the front line! I put into flower two cutsā€¦ But as I did this I realize these are from a Shishkaberry and Maui mystery mix packā€¦ so who knows what these will be. none-the-less we shall find out! I will still post updates on the veg but itā€™s not too interesting and no familiar stem rubs yet. Smooth coasting for the most part.

These ā€œxā€ males will be seduced by Oaxacan. The oax is very powerful so I will let her do what she needs to do. The seed will be interesting to test.

Hereā€™s a flower room. One of my plants. Keep an eye if youā€™re keen on it ! A new journal is cominā€™

That looks beautiful :star_struck:!

To throw more on the mystery, sebring said his last batch of MWCB may have been cross contaminated with the primate OG pollen, making it possibly a shiskaberry/cherry bomb/aloha OG mix.
Though that was his explanation of why there were so many males showing up in the MWCB, but now Iā€™m seeing the aloha is listed as femā€¦

Very pretty flowers. When you make a new thread can you post a link please. I donā€™t spend much time looking at the board. Everyone I follow keep me busy enough. I check it from time to time for new growers. I just donā€™t want to miss it.

Wow a surprise indeed! Thank u for that as I was searching a bit for answers this helps make my decisions alsoā€¦do we know what the Primate looks like? Maybe itā€™s where that stretch is coming from?

I have relabeled the males and started flowering them a couple days ago when I mentioned them so letā€™s see what I foundā€¦

in those males I was looking for short and stubby - (less hybrid vigor from the contamination = closer to origin is my theory) light greens and red conjunctions in the internodes. No scents yet but I smoke quite a bit so it needs to be pretty strong for me to pick it up

I love OGs - seriously itā€™s my top smokeā€¦ but I already have a couple primos that earned their spot. The last OG I tried sprouting was too old and didnā€™t popā€¦ very sad about it as it was my favorite one but thatā€™s just how it is sometimes.

Here is from one of my OGs

Thank u my friend! She is one of my favorite smokes really - citrus and sharp

I will post a link here once I get it started good idea!

I am thinking of a cool project title still :joy:

Iā€™m asking sebring what his take on this is. The aloha OG is listed as fem, so even if there was cross contamination, we shouldnā€™t be seeing the number of males being reported, especially without a big difference in the females too. All the females my buddy got look rather identical, with one big beautiful male out of 5 seeds.
I canā€™t answer you what the primate OG looks like, but itā€™s a cross of GG4 and yeti OG. Only learned about it when I read the description for the Aloha OG.

10/4 roger doger - copy that; over

These fems looks the same 2 me with exception of the first leaves which I pictured soemwhere in here early on. Like I mentioned I grabbed the slow growers.

I just counted and I have selected x3 fems and x2 male. One of the males might die today - as it curled a bit but not major. I would like to only have uno!

GG$ x Yetiā€¦ That seems interesting. Yeti is aka Headband BX? I am looking now - Those are some dominant beasts themselves

We shall see what presents itself soon!

Idk, just info from sebrings site, I have both MWCB and aloha OG, so Iā€™ll have to run them side by side when I do.
