McDs trial and error grow

Good morning/afternoon, everyone,
I was finally able to put up everything together and get a grow started.

Thanks to all those who helped by providing tester and donated beans it is greatly appreciate. @BirD @MissinThe90sStrains

Ps- if anyone wants to donate beans I’ll gladly run them.

I set up a 2x4 tent with 200w spider farmer lights. Added an inline 4” carbon filter and exhaust fan. Also added a rotating fan for aeration and a breeze. And an additional fan on top to provide fresh air to the lights module.

I will be growing in 3 gallon fabric pots and have set up an auto watering feeder. First initial waterings will be done with mykos and by hand to gauge the water needed.

I also have a 3x3 tent with I paired with another 200w spider farmer light, and an inline 6” filter and exhaust fan combination.

Both tents have smart lighting and watering on a schedule of 18/6 , with the 6 off being during peak day to minimize heat.

Temperature of room they’ll be in will be 76 degrees, with a humidity of about 45-55%.

Nutrients will be maxigrow, and water ph will be between 5.8-6.2, medium will be soiless mix of coco/pete/pearlite.

I have begun process of germination, keeping it simple, seeds to water in a cup method.

So far grow will consist of gmo bx1 and vinters moonshine, will add more crosses along the way if I get more.

Grow is to get a feeling for it, and put into action everything I’ve learned through reading and watching videos. Open to any critique and pointers / knowledge that’s shared.

Very cool project and best of luck to you! The Vintner’s Moonshine came to me as half a pack from my mentor/friend. I found a really nice plant in there, that flowered purple from the very start. Terps were grape, leather, and spice, and it was a nice relaxing indica high that melted away stress.

I popped the last couple seeds, wanting to preserve it. The few F2’s that I tested gave me: citrus, wintergreen, grape “big league chew”, and “cotton candy” terps. 2/4 of the tested F2s were purple from the onset of flower. Buds were solid and some phenos had pretty big colas. The male was short and stout, but threw a couple 13 finger leaves.

I see, if you do find those pics please post them. I’ll try to take clones of them and hopefully get a colorful one, from what I read it’s a very interesting strain with most saying it has very heavy indica
effects which I enjoy.

Brother in law gave me these from bag seed said it came from an old brick he got a few years ago, I’m not even sure if they will crack but doing the peroxide and water method.

Others have been placed in dirt mix already. Will post as soon as I get a sprout

From what I’m reading it takes a while to flower as well, how was your experience with them?

GMO mom I take her 88-91 days I like heavy narcotic body highs with appetite and sleep that’s her sweet spot
The Toadally Gass is looking ready @ day 60
Will be some of both in the bx I would think

Looking forward to that, these are growing well considering I was running them on like 20% humidity but that has been taken care of

They’re coming along fine and recovered well

I’m now seeing some explosive growth on a few of them and think that I will be needing to flip soon. They have been fed ph 5.8-6.2 water with mykos and rooting hormone powder mixed in but I will lower the humidity now as I think that’s what caused the leaf burn and overly thick leaves. Currently was running humidity at about 70% will lower to 55%

Yes so far they are pretty stinky. One smells like burnt plastic or something a bit horrid but that’s what we’re after lol

I love GMO she’s great medicine to my system she works well for a few months then I have to change up for a bit
