I am. My mom who sent the gift also ordered me some plants with it, which will arrive any time now. At first, when it came, I thought it was a weird gift and I already have 2 raised beds, but now I’m pretty stoked on it. It’s a really simple design actually. Just a submersible pump with pvc and a sort of little plastic showerhead at the top that must just spray the roots. It comes with a timer, supposedly for my climate outdoors it’s 15 mins on 15 mins off day and 15 on / 120 off at night.
The thing that bugs me is that the company sells the plant plugs to you. I’m gonna find out when they get here what medium they are using because surely I could create my own plugs. They do not, however tell you that it’s possible on their website or mention it. Kind of greedy if you ask me, especially when they preach conserving resources and being economical, but it’s a business.

Root riot cubes would trim down and fit in the holes I reckon. Looks like a weird bit of kit. Can’t hurt to throw a few autos at it.

I’ve been sick for over a month, still can’t hear and have a clogged head, which means my smoking has been limited and my energy level has been for shit. Also, been depressed for quite a stretch since I hurt my knee and my mobility is limited. Makes it hard to do much social media as I don’t feel social. However, I have had some weed swaps in the last month and wanted to post on a few strains.
First is some Space Monkey, 2 separate phenos I guess. That’s gg4 x wookie
#3 Flavor wise, if gg4 and sour diesel had a baby it would be this pheno. Sour Chocolate Lime flavored. Super gross in a really good way. 
gg4 flavor on crack basically. The high seems very indica leaning hybrid. Heavy body high, sleepy. The first 20 mins almost greens me out though from the psychedelics of the head high, after that it smooths out and leaves you with a nice sink into the couch body high.
#2 Flavor was pepper beef jerky on the top followed by a really sweet grape finish that coats your whole mouth. It has the weirdest, most delicious taste. Even more psychedelic than #3 in the high. Like an extra strong gg4 high. Very delightful! Dankety Dankness!
I also had my first taste of Mac 1, although it was super premature and didn’t get me high for more than 15 mins, but I am intrigued by the flavor. It tasted exactly like a christmas tree smells. I def want to try it mature.
The man and I have also been enjoying @Greasy vintage blueberry x blueberry muffin (I believe I got the cross right) It is really delicious. Definitely BB there. Tastes exactly like this Blueberry lavender drink they make at this Mediterranean place I eat called Cava. This strain is very indica, I greened out on it a few times with couch lock. I enjoy it much more if I moderate. 
Very nice strain! My man really enjoys it. A delightful smoke.

Those holes have removable root cups that just pop in and out.

Root riot cubes are a sort of sponge that you can easily trim down to the size you need. Unless you feel it in your hands it’s hard to explain what they are like. They are cheap enough to buy. Give them a try.

The cups are pretty standard 2 inch plug size too. They probably make root riots in round plugs. I wouldn’t be surprised

I hadn’t been using them for a while, but just finally used up most of my last batch of rooting cubes; I was considering making my own next time, or at least seeing how well it works. Pretty sure it’s just peat moss infused with a little mycorrhizae, compressed into a convenient shape. The compression part is where I’m not sure I can duplicate it, but I figure it’s worth a shot. Worst case, I waste 30 cents worth of peat moss trying to duplicate a $30 bag of rooting cubes.
