It would not be hard for someone to take a sample to a known accurate lab and test a sample to see what it is at. Or at minimum take bud from a plant and send samples to 3 or 4 labs to see the variation in reported values.

You remember when Anesia °O° announced it had developed a new strain in the mid to upper 30’s ?
My friend bought it and was going to change the world with cutting edge cannabis but all of that never happened, , , , , again.
I think it was named “Imperium”, but hafta check.
I have it from him, BX’d and then it bred to a couple other mostly pure Indica’s. It has a super squatty structure and very wide leaves, decent heavy buzz for rest and pain, but nothing noticably different other than Anesia’s growing bank balance.
So far I’ve seen a few lab results but nothing anywhere near that hype’d level,(some % mid teens even) and the outright deception is an emeging topic online,
just as it is here.
Where does it end, it’s one big psy-op from literally our birth to the grave no matter where you live.
It’d be nice if we could collectively run them out of business, along with a dozen others, start with ACE, then All Greed Seeds,
and go down the alphabet.

Not unprecedented. Cam has a cut of Kush Mints that has been testing low 40s for 3 or 4 years now, available in So Cal when its around.

Since this claim is from GLG, and I’ve huge respect for GLG’s, I would have thought we could see the actual test results.
I’ll hold out on if it is real or not.
My suspicion, is it is a FOMO stunt.
To gather up eyeballs, so they run to their site for the beans and or the growers procedure, for this feat to be accomplished, if it was.
A big step forward for big THC hounds?
Has a better way, of detailed growing protocols, created this 41%, cultivar?

I would be more hyped on cultivar with cannabioids reading over 40%, but not only the THC itself. Would be happy to read the report and see the heads in macro.
I wonder where is the limit for the plant itself. Another 10% and I could say that I do grow the resin on the plant not the flower itself : p

I’m skeptical the only way to really know is to have two honest/trusted labs to test it independently then you might get a real awnser that is probably easier said than done though as alot of labs inflate the numbers plus people send samples in that have been cherry picked or even kiefed to add to the confusion regardless 41%thc delta 9 is a huge number if it’s actually legit kudos to em but that don’t mean it’s gonna be a great smoke though there’s more to it than just THC% for sure
