Misterbee's Giveaway (Closed)

And … FIVE! It’s getting close. The suspense builds. Pigs are flying. Feels like a pink Floyd concert around here.

Or alternatively you could buy up a bunch of old school busses; then gut & weld them together followed by burying them underground. A bloke did this in Ontario.

Roger Waters uses the flying inflatable pigs in his live show still.

If I had to choose between seeing him or seeing the Gilmour version of Floyd, I’m seeing Roger 99 times out of 100.

Yeah he does. Saw him 2x in the last decade. Amazing shows.

This was from animals tour. Can’t find images from the wall. But sat in row 7 middle section. If my wife’s dad is good for one thing, it’s spending too much on awesome tickets. Lol

Worth every penny I’m sure. Animals is a helluva album. Something about the Gilmour guitar work on this EP stands out. Agree with @Yetigrows also; I’d take Roger over David any day. Though, I’d rather have them together. Sadly, That’s a pipe dream. I don’t see those 2 mending differences enough to play a meaningful show, much less a tour.

Sadly I’m sure your right. I wish they could resolve their differences.

I do love Syd’s work also. Can’t beat some Arnold Layne and Bike. Some of my favs :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

My uncle (RIP) was a staff photographer for Kodak.

I was in the press box in Hyde Park, London on July 2 2005 as his “assistant/equipment carrier” and knew I was witnessing history.

Hah. That’s amazing! I was also an “equipment carrier” for my wife when she was a photojournalist for the school paper. Got to see some fun shows because of it, but nothing to brag about such as that. Like arctic monkeys, and more modern stuff from early 00’s. I think beck was probably my favorite free show, doing that. Maybe yes, or journey. Those 3 were the most memorable anyway.

this ( again Animals) show was right after trump took office. It was awesome.

Gotta say, I miss going to shows. Dumb pandemic.

Back in the 80’s, I got a gig running Security at the Barton Colliseum in Little Rock Arkansas. I got to see quite a few acts for free. Motley Crue, Heart, Ted Nugent, Boston, Van Halen. Fun times.

Nice, must have been some amazing shows.

Yes,. I got to see the tour of Elton John and Billy Joel. Just those two guys and back to back pianos. It was awesome. Motley Crue pretty much sucked. Drumming was good but whether the acoustics in there was bad or what? The rest was a jumbled mess you could not understand shit they said. All you could here was like loud staticcy sound and every once in a while he you yell “LIVE WIRE! LIVE WIRE!!”. HEART WAS FENOMENAL!

Alice In Chains is my favorite band and they were good friends with the Wilson sisters from Heart. I saw an interview where Jerry Cantrell said the Wilson sisters would have parties and him and Nancy would play guitar all night. He said it would get to the point where his fingers were so sore he couldn’t play anymore (or they’d even be bleeding) and Nancy would just keep playing no problem.

We just have to have a relationship. They used to have us fill oust several medical history forms. This time it was one check off your symptom sheet. My just if it was that way here you would do the initial visit and go back in 6 mo for a card? Sounds like the rules here for a divorce with children.

I’m not sure what they’ll decide in the end. Still has to pass the Senate, and they say it will, but not for a year. Kansas is the suxxor for legalization. We just got a Dem mayor for the first time in forever. And doubt it’ll continue. We had brown back before this and when trump arrived they became buddy buddy.

But as for the medical reqs, I could easily get a card, but I don’t go to the Dr unless my arms falling off. Hate that place. Also hate the question, " who’s your primary care physician?"

I’ll keep doing what I’m doing. “Know the rules so you know how to break em too.” -Typical cats

Rules are meant to be broken. Take risks, right?

At least Biden is for decriminalization. Sadly not legalization.

Anyway, less than 5 days till this list of 65 varieties is released! Big hugs @misterbee !
