MoBillys Forevermore Green Room Thread (Part 3)

Good luck Mo.

I got suuuper baked and watched The Wizard of Oz with my girlfriend and my little brother. It’s REALLY nice to be smoking again. My weed that just got done drying is killer, as well. :star_struck:

Good morning everyone.
Kinda bummed today. The first birth went textbook. The second didn’t come right away and I was falling asleep sitting out there at 2:30. She’s never had a problem with kidding so I went in. When I checked this morning I found out she aborted the second one.
I’ve got the nursery cleaned up and can finally sit down to some coffee.
Mother is fine though and we have one beautiful new addition to the menagerie. I don’t know if it’s a male or female yet. Katy was not into me checking out the one that lived just yet.

Morning @MoBilly. The ups and downs of being a rancher.

I get bummed when that happens but the “rancher” in me soon begins thinking about the extra milk that she will provide for us with only one kid nursing. That milk is a huge help to the family. It balances out. It was a billy so he would have gone to market eventually… but it still sucks though.

Good morning bro Mo and your fans.

Sorry about your billy, Mo. That sucks. Always hard to see an animal dead or dying.

Extra milk sounds nice though, and I LOVE goat cheese. Look for the silver lining, I suppose.

That’s about the only way to approach running a homestead.
Years ago I sunk big money into just the right young meat breed billy to cross with my milkers. I was looking for a good all around homestead goat line… Anyway, we had him in a pen right up by the house and my nieces St Bernard mix jumped a 6’ fence and mauled him. Add on vet bills to try and save a goat that still didn’t survive… That was such a kick in the jewels that I sold out all my goats and got out of it altogether. Now I’d LOVE to have one from that old bloodline.
That’s one time I didn’t roll with the punch and regretted it.

Dude, what strain is that in your profile picture? That’s insane. Looks like a gigantic head of broccoli.

Is that pre-dry or post-dry?

That was my first ever 1 lb per plant harvest bruce banner. That was after the wet trim so pre-dry. I wish i would of done the same thing with my record breaker at 1.5 lbs per plant chemtk (by goat and monkey). @slippy790 funny you say that tho ive got that A LOT! Lol
