They sure sell a lot of weed though. It IS nice to not worry anymore but it sure screwed the pooch. A lot of folks just hung it up…except us diehards who keep growing like there is a market…LOL. It’s a hard habit to break…especially with all of this equipment laying around and ample time to fook with things…

@Terpsnpurps that may be the case where you are, but here in Oklahoma, the dispos bought everything we took to em and begged for more! All full mature(70-80% amber) and cured at least a month.

Well, I’m getting ready to put new strings on my guitar because the gang is invading Mom’s home this evening.
Coffee, cookies and home grown music. Of course I’ll take a couple of bong rips and then a shower before heading down there. lol
Everyone knows I smoke but I don’t make it obvious to them. They understand it’s for pain management and tolerate it for that reason but none of them are thrilled by the fact. And there’s no reason to make it obvious.

That clear trichomes have the most medicinal qualities and the medicinal qualities degrade as it matures into weed we (stoners) like
@JohnnyPotseed they just shut a dispo down over here for selling too mature of marijuana among other things like shipping incorrectly … incorrect labeling etc… but 1 on the list was TOO MATURE lol. So i an confused about that also now

Yeah, as in “We don’t want them getting too high”. They harvest early because the true buzz comes with the amber.
Edit; to a point. After the trichomes begin to break up with age (going too far) you loose THC but I believe other components become higher at that point. Not too sure about the latter comment.
Absolutely mo… its why when i get harvests in (especially this last 1) we dont buy dispo… i think we may be done w going to the dispo at all after this last haul…
The very best at the dispo … whether missouri or illinois is 30 min buzz , rinse repeat… goes fast like that… thats what they want… im going to start exposing them when i find the time…
If i smoke bud with all clear trikes, the only thing i get is a nice headache. That dont sound too “medical”, to me.
Seriously tho. The way i understand it is. Earlier harvest for head high. Later harvest for a more stoned body effect. And the longer the THC degrades, the more amber the heads become. And the more other cannabinoids become prevalent and the buzz kinda takes a back seat. But, i could be wrong on that.

That must be the deal here, milky and clear … i remember looking w a microscope and being surpringly disappointed at the clear trich presence…
What i know for sure… is somehow the dispo bud wont keep me high past 30 mins… my homegrown keeps us all high for at least 2 hours off 1 joint… we smoke more typically anyway… but usually do not really NEED to…
A nice way to look at it. Clear trikes look like little bits of glass. The more milky they get, the more they look like little bits of plastic. Amber is like an over ripe banana

The straight cloudy with a touch of amber (the way a lot of growers on here do it) is supposed to be in your head and is a long lasting daytime, let’s go to the park and throw the ball around" kinda high. But as more amber develops, the park thing becomes an afterthought of… “Weren’t we supposed to meet some people somewhere?” “Naaa, that’s tomorrow. It’s been a couple hours since the last J so roll another while I get that bag of Crunch N Munch.” kinda thing. lol
