I got a couple BOG repros from a member before he got “evicted” from here. I had some started but had to chuck them. I was told the BOG Strawberry have a lot of vigor.

I think i have Sour Strawberry BOG in the vault. Now that i think of it I think i popped two, grew one. I think i wanted something that tasted or smelled strong of strawberries. Nope. So i didnt pop any more. Maybe i did not get the correct pheno??? I know i was dissappointed. Cant even remember if it was good quality smoke or not.

I think i want something that has a strong aroma with its name.
For instance Sour Strawberry… Should smell like strawberries. At least as a secondary smell. If a strain is Cafe Latte, i would expect coffee in the aroma. Blue berry muffins should have a bluberry aroma.
Or am i looking for something that aint there???

The Strawberry Diesel Classic used with Generic Seeds has the strawberry stink. It came thru in a cross I ran inside, but the finished outside. Big club colas.

Yeah @JohnnyPotseed , I’ll admit the smells are often not strong. The two that have really stood out are Lime and Orange strains. Ran both from different breeders and found it. That orange or lime on the tongue is so cool. Even had it on the exhale with the lime. I’ve heard about grape being strong, but haven’t smoked any grape.

I do get different aromas, some sweeter, some more loud, some really gassy. But it still smells like cannabis, to me.
Im beginning to think folks are full of crap, lol, or my smeller is broke. Cuz i dont every smell berries, or lemons or coffee etc. Am i crazy???

That’s why I took a chance on some cuts. Hopefully >something< will stand out. The seed fare out there is hit/miss for sure on taste.
With that said…I am planning on doing a smattering/variety of things from seed this Summer…mainly a bunch of the fems I got from JP and @Hashpants and some other stuff that’s been in the bucket for too long that needs it’s due. An outdoor SOG would be fun…
