LOL…we don’t give a rat’s ass about our own laws. If there are laws now…
Re Frank…My experience has shown that once it gets THAT cool for the highs…growth pretty much slows/stops. IF you want amber it might be worth letting her go…but on the whole…there won’t be massive growth/etc. and the risk of mold is up there with dense nug/humidity/etc.
But if you don’t NEED the smoke for stash and you’re OK risking it… um…yeah.
Oh I’ll have plenty of smoke. Just not like that one. It’s Eva’s girl and I’ll leave the decision up to her. But as for me… I say let her go. We both want this to be our evening “knock your ass out” smoke. I’ll probably shoot for ~40% amber unless she shows the first sign of problems.
I >could< still be growing outside. We’ve only hit 28F for the lowest low. But it isn’t worth it to me. I don’t even check trichs. If you’ve been sportin’ bud for 65 days…it’s usually time. But we all play differently…
Just do me a solid bro. If you do put a heater in there make sure you stake it down with ropes or something on the base. Safety or not animals seek heat at night when it starts getting cold.
Safety first…….
Should have said “hoping for at least”. We decided to go closer to 70% after chatting with you and Rose the other day. But if we get to 40% with no problems we’ll go longer.
We have outside cats and they will most definitely take advantage of the warmth. The lean to has a metal frame that I’ll wire some metal shelves to. The heater will be tied to the floor of a wire pet carrier that will be wired securely to the shelves. Nothing will be able to get near it.
Figured I’d post our plan to let you know we got it dinked out.
If using an extension cord, the main thing is make sure it’s heavy enough gage to handle the load. First, last and always. Never plug a space heater into one of them little cords!
I never use 20amp for a space heater, 30 or higher
When we moved in here, I redid the 200amp panel in the house and ran a new 200amp panel to the barn, 30 & 40 amp breakers only, lol except for the dbls there is 50s-70s etc
lol tell me about it. This is a 1968 mobile home that has a stickbuilt house around it. It was put down here almost 50yrs ago, so it wasn’t very old back then, only around 13yrs old or so. But that’s why I redid the electric!
The barn had an old bus-fuse box & the house had 100amp panel. lol Not up to par for modern electric requirements.
