Moka's caffeinated chronicles

Aw thanks so much! Mostly just jamming to my own drum at this point. Still trying to pin down the full hempy style altogether. I think @vernal has it right when he told me not to overthink it.

If I had one complaint this grow it would be the LST trainers tend to twist the branches a bit when applied to the plants. But I’m sure they will all bush out when I flip the plants next week.

I find it easier to drill holes in the sides of the pot and use flexible wrapped gardening wire to bend. It’s like 50 feet for $10. With stakes for taller plants in hempy buckets.

Yeah…it’s easy to overthink every variable. Sometimes overthinking pays off which is probably why I do it ceaselessly haha.

Any questions on hempy lemme know. I may not know everything, but I got hempies licked.

Looks like one of the super lavender jacks is a female! Gonna flip tomorrow and the waiting game commences.

Quick update. The pinball wizard has thrown out a couple of pistils on the main stalk.

So I believe I am at
1 female super lavender jack
1 female pinball wizard
1 undecided super lavender jack

That’s good to hear @Moka, hope the last one is a female too for you.

From the last pic, the 2 females are in the front (PW on the left and SLJ on the right?) And the undecided SLJ is in the back?

The one in the back is the undecided SLJ. The left front is the female SLJ (easy to know this one because I may have accidently broken off a lower main stem) and the front right is the PW (Seriously a monster grower and heavy feeder)

Addendum: the PW has a lemon stem rub while the SLJ is very sour/oily

They both look great :star_struck: not sure if it’s the camera angle  but the one in the back looks smaller. Maybe I’m just trippin haha.

Is this day one since flip? I don’t know if it’s all the caffeine, lol, but I’m excited to see how they do!

yep! Flipped them yesterday! And you are totally right about the back one being the smallest of the three.

Day three after flip. Seems to be tolerating everything well right now!

Edit. All three appear to be female!

Picture one is from the short squat super lavender jack in the back

Picture two is from the pinball wizard

Picture three is from the taller super lavender jack.

The pinball wizard still has a lemon/lime stem rub
The shorter SLJ has acrid/gas/sour stem rub
The taller SLJ has like a burnt rubber/faint citrus stem rub

I like the sound of the stem rubs on those  Gonna be some nice flowers for sure.

Hopefully the last heavy defoliation I have to do. Always hate cutting off fan leaves. But I need that uv stimulation on the calyx sites.

Apparently I was way off with my early assessment of the pinball wizard. Full studly man at this point. He hasn’t dropped any pollen yet thankfully.

Should I make seeds or go for a seedless crop?
