When I got laid off, recently, I lost my O365 license. I am not a student. I mostly just want the o365 version of Excel. I tried switching to Open Office, and it works, but there are small quirks/ missing features, that make me miss Excel.
I was looking at purchasing Office, but I found the stand alone office 2021 for 1 PC is $150. An o365 subscription is $70/year, has extra features, and I could install it on up to 5 devices (I rarely use my laptop, but it could possibly come in handy)
I really hate the trend of software that requires a subscription. Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this and found any ways to get discounts or other options I havenât thought of.
I can link you the version I use, itâs pre cracked so works for life if thatâs something youâre down for. Fuck the subscriptions they make enough
I used to use cracked windows & office, but it felt like windows would always start f-ing up, and I would have to reformat. That stopped after I eventually paid for windows, so I try not to use cracked apps anymore, but I might have to go that way. I appreciate you!
Thatâs a nice way of putting it⌠my comments generally had âmore saltââŚ
Eventually I said âbugger itâ and just used it. If you are not switching machines daily (as I was) you donât see as many âwartsâ.
It is close enough to Excel I can use it, only once did it really mess up but I had a backup⌠TBH that might have been all my faultâŚ
Just buy a product key. You can Google whatever program and âproduct keyâ and you can find them almost anywhere for hella cheap. And itâs a real product key from some bulk corporate thing.
That is how I feel about Mac. lol
I do realize it applies to Windows, too. I am alright with Linux. The main detractor to me, has been that most of my Steam games dont have a Linux option.
