I lived up around that area for many years. I think everything that you got around that time was called Mullumbimby magic . As far as Yantra goes I won’t go near them they didn’t do right by some people up that way. It was just a Haze cross and that’s that . As far as Kanga after he lost everything not sure what he’s doing now .:v:

Shanti fucking baba had nothing to do with it , he received / stole seeds from Nevil which came from Kanga . Kanga was the only one who got ripped off . He lost everything and did time inside. Kanga did all the work :v:

We all called any weed ‘Mull’ growing up in West Oz and still do really. I’m pretty sure that word was a shortening of Mullumbimby madness, but I could be wrong. Would love to try the real deal one day.

yes , i hear since years that in Australia the Names given to strains are totally random. And in certain regions they just call almost any strain mullum, or Ninbim, no matter if its something completly unknown, a hybrid.

To a degree tho, a certain amount of sativa percentage (probably old Thai) might still be hidden in strains called mullum, as in AU the people do have the possibility to grow longflowering stuff outside. Hence, if a thinleaved strain i is called mullum, it might be worth a try.
I remeber browsing trough the “OZ stoners Forum” galleries, and there is allot thinleafed stuff around.
I never contacted the people there, because one needs to pay OZstoners site to write PM messages, but ive seen some occasional remarking stuff.

So, its not worthless to pursue a random socalled “Mullum” i guess. There is a smaller chance its relatively or entirely pure old Thai.

And yes, i think Yantra Seeds even admitted they crossed their mullum out. this one is probably a fake.

Or an old thia X png they are both extremely close to AU and furthermore its old mother that is supposed to be the backbone of MM and just from the old photos old mother definitely looks like either a thia , png or a possible Cambodian ps it looks like dread locks coming out of the ground

The likely hood is Thai.
People have theorized if it was Thai and Colombian but did any Colombian float around then?

I’m pretty close to Mullum and have collected a fair amount of seed from various types of local ‘bush weed’, it’s hit and miss, some of it is ropey, some is really nice, there is still some of the old types around, mostly held by older growers who have kept their seeds year to year and don’t use any kinda computers. most of what I’ve grown out seems to be SE Asian, with some seemingly hazy that turned up a bit later. The northern rivers and central coast is similar to far North Queensland in that the environment suits the long flowering varieties, both areas are pretty wet and get mild winters and seem to have some old heirlooms if you can find them.

I’ve seen heaps of different stuff called MM over the years, maybe there’s a legit made version of it, but I think it was maybe any exceptional bush weed from the mid north coast I.e. where Nimbin and Mullum are. Things take on a life of their own though so who really knows.

seems like an acclimatized Thai.
I haven’t had anything with this vigor.
Closest was a VB or NH.

@US3RNAM3 ugh its flicked into flower so the scents arent as strong on a rub. Seems to me predominantely like a woody/incense vibe with mild lemon/pine.

Thx for the feedback, can you comment on provenance? Have you f2d these?

Region in Northern NSW 1-2hrs inland.
There’s been debate on what it actually is but I say its Thai.
I’m working on producing an F2.
