If youre new to mycology I’d recommend a psilocybe cubensis

Are the p. Cyans and bisporus harder to grow? I just know when i was looking for prints when i bought em i just wanted the most potent cause my intention was to microdose.

they require stricter quidlines but if your in the swing of things shouldnt be much harder to accommodate.
More humidity and more airflow- no standing water.

And if anyone wants some of these id be willing to share cause it’ll be a while before i ever get to em.

Different substrate and temps. Its grown on wood.
The cubensis grow in many things and its probably easier to control their environment. I also think they (azur)are mostly grown outdoors
I hope I didn’t get that wrong…

I have grown Pan cyan out of composted manure right out of that yellow bag from home depot.
Healthy spawn in the summer when the conditions where right to begin with.

They are much stronger and they have a whole different energy and feel ime. Pans are more difficult to grow and wouldn’t advise for a beginner unless that’s your natural habitat and you can grow outside.
Azurecens grow great on rotting wood and are really difficult to grow inside. Ive seen a few people do it but never to great results. Some good results but not happy flushes.

Are they cubensis? And or hard to grow? Have you tried the mckennaii? And nice avatar btw. Too many times I’ve gotten stoned and watched bob ross paint some happy little trees lol.

Yes they are cubes. I’ve grown McKenna and it’s a cube a has some variation but mostly a cube is a cube. Penis envy/melmac are the strongest cubes but are the hardest of cubes to grow. Imo

Birthed my jars this past weekend. Total of 24 jars (12 McKennai and 12 Tasmanian) birthed into 6 shoeboxes. Now I’m letting them consolidate in a closet and then will put them into fruiting conditions next Tuesday.
