Mutant Madness?

3 Females and one male left out of 10, culled out the skunkiest, they were stinking out the place in veg! The one male left is the earliest and had the most desirable stem smell out of the group, starting to flower, will be end Oct by the look of it

You should have got rid of the skunkiest right over here. That’s a shame you couldn’t have let them go. Have a smoking day.

Are those freakshows? I got 9 females going one smells completely different than anything I’ve ever smelled in weed. I’d describe it as very menthol and blueberry / bubblegum smelling its nuts the smell is very strong from a tiny touch. Beautiful plants for a secret outdoor grow🙏

They be supafreaks, got freakshow seeds too, glad I just went for the supafreaks though this year, they are an earlier shorter flowering selection of freakshow, and just early enough for here, hopefully

You prob have a ton of skunk genetics already hahaha, beautiful isn’t it, homegrowers can select to their tastes and desires. I selected for the most ‘functional’ smelling terps. Skunk types turn me into a munchie maniac, emptying the whole larder, belly in bits the next day, I have to avoid that shit!

it seems seed quantity is a lot lower than i would have hoped considering the size of the plants. i am not sure if it’s on me for my decisions or if it’s a feature of genetics. it seems the males are too fast for the full pollination of the females. as much pollen as the males let loose… idk… it’s just insane to me. i want to believe it’s a feature of genetics but it could be me as well.

location 2 is chugging along but a similar situation. the males seem to be developing much faster than the females. i really don’t know what to do… i still have clones of every plant except urklefreak2. fortunately she does seem to be the most pollinated, and the largest yielder.

ironically the slowest plant (Chinese) seems to have made the best progress on seed creation. 100% certain i will have to pull this lady before she’s done but i have high faith that she’ll produce healthy viable seed.

Plants are looking fantastic man… If you did something, they aren’t showing it from what I can see :person_shrugging::metal:

I curious, wanna trade some seeds? I’m thinking a freak strain will be a little more stealth than my Mrs potting plants :joy::crossed_fingers:

Edit: I zoomed in

Well, to be honest, all Frisian Duck i smoked wasn’t that great. Very weak, taste reminded me like “Deutsche Hecke”. :face_with_peeking_eye:

Sounds like you need to smoke stuff from a better grow/grower…?:grin:

I’d give it a shot though, as an unbiased opinion . Now, off to find some!

I learned not more than a couple weeks ago the strain I have labeled as Frisian Duck was actually Frisian Dew. The owner reached out to me to correct me. I’m sorry for misleading you and myself.

Not bad at all!:joy: The Frisian Dew is mainly an early outdoor strain iirc, which had a good reputation along the members of the long defunct German “Hanfburg” Forum. This forum was one of the first, largest, most active and therefore best German forum back in the days. Was around 2015ish.

I grew Frisian dew indoors this year pretty nice hybrid sativa effects kind of old school terps and appearance

Iirc there’s some “Hollands Hope” / “Hollandsch Hoop” in it.

Of course I got all green phenos which was surprising but it was unseasonably warm during flower. Good hybrid though and would def run again

Oh damn!! The rush of memories that just came flooding my brain, lol. That was the strain that was most recommended for my kind of back pain, but I totally forgot the name! Lol, damn weed :joy:

Thank you!! Now, I’ve gotta find some of those too :joy::person_facepalming::grin:
