Continuing the discussion from My grow + intro:
Hi OG’s … the Silver Surfer cut I have is pretty interesting. No relation to any freak strains. Just a random mutant?? When I saw this in flower buds were healthy & not effected. Anyone seen this before?
Either deficient to the point of contorting in pain or broad mites.
The person I received the cut from told me it has been like this since germination. I have also taken cuts that live in and outside and they continue to grow like this.
Would make me look for any unwanted pests first
Hi Wizdom! Cheers for the reply. Have seen this in someone else’s room and also lived in mine for bout 2 month. Imho- The one thing I can rule out is bugs.
Ah yeah? Certainly can’t rule it out. Was wondering about that one. I haven’t seen that before, and don’t know enough about it yet.
But I can tell you all other plants in same room & the room it came from remain unaffected over several grows.
Don’t hold me to it buddy but how the leafs are it certainly looks like it. I’d like more than me alone to diagnos it before you decide what your gonna do.
I would definitely discard bugs or deficiency as it’s also happening in other cuts from the same mother, don’t see virus patterns (it’s all very uniform), so I would think about some kind of mutation , but like my bro said, wait for more opinions before acting …
Ah yeah that’s cool! I willfully chose to grab a cut of this plant at the time because i thought it was so unique.
Hi George, yes I was under the impression it’s just a weird mutant also, but hadn’t seen anything like it before. I still believe this is the case.
U need to cross it with another MUTANT…
That’s a great idea. Lfg!
I have a Star Killer that dwarfed out and looks like some dinosaur bud. I’m letting it go to see if it hermies, or at least gives me pollen. Would be easier to make dwarf strains moving forward.
