My aquaponic adventures

I had to cut down the 2nd of 3 Goji Ghash x Catpiss last night, damn thing ended up being male

The last Goji Ghash x Catpiss has an ammonia smell mixed with green stems on a stem rub, interesting…

2 of the blueberry x Zam crosses cruising along into flower. One has a sweet green stem stem rub, the other is pure road tar mixed with melting rubber… Totally fuckin weird :person_shrugging::joy:

The 2 skull fuk x Zam crosses are kind of the same, but more faint. One is quite sweet, but not berry sweet, the other has a very mild tar stem rub smell… Apparently Zam comes with a background in tar/rubber? Who knew

I was sitting on my little wheelie stool yesterday, looking up at the plants…

Looks like you need to fold them girls like they’re a preztel

Lol, right?

I have water flowing into both tents now, I’m SOOOO close to having both tents fully functional… That’s going to give the girls so much more room, and they’ll be under that M1000 light, so every part of them is gonna need sunblock, lol

There’s 2 big plants that are at the front… They’ve both been defoliated the same amount at the same time… Kinda cool to see the total difference in them :metal:

Water is flowing, syphons are working, and the first plant has been move :grin::grin:

Tomorrow is a grow room cleanup day (including the hallway outside the room :person_facepalming:) and move day for the girls :metal:. I’ll prolly drop a couple seeds too :grin:

Finally, I can get back to concentrating on feeding and growing plants!!:metal:

Ok, so that might have been a little aggressive, lol…

Aglex is sending me a new controller, for free, to replace the one that popped… That should be here in a couple weeks. Since I can only turn on half the light without the tent going to 32, I ended up moving the big plant back into the veg tent, and moving the small plants into the flower tent… Now, of course, those names are exactly backwards :person_shrugging::person_facepalming::joy:.

Today I’m going to try to clean up the room and hallway, and start up some worm casting tea… :crossed_fingers:

Grow room tidied… I really need to get the dehumidifier mounted on the wall, lol.

Hallway, a little tidier, lol

Budding plants got a little defol… I think I’m getting better at leaving more leaves than I used to, lol

And vegging plants are, vegging

She may be small, but she’s a sexy lil number :joy::grin:

I’m really digging the watering globes. I’m starting to think about a couple coco grows. One being Blumat style, using system water. Another in going to try adding hydroton 3-4" deep to a 5 gap bucket, then dropping on a 3g fabric pot with a coco/castings/hydroton mix and see if I can get a proper wick to happen to feed a plant. Have to experiment to learn, right?

I finally remembered to take pics so I can track which girls are in which tent…

Currently flowering we have

And revegging we have

Mendo breath auto didn’t have a great showing this time around, I’ll have to give her another run :ok_hand:

Them girls stems are Chonky!!! Im also curious what similarities will be carried forward from the Zam parental especially if you find that pain management you found in the original

@Fortman420 yeah, they’re definitely getting up there… I’ve usually have 1 stem in a grow that breaks the label, but I think I’m going to have a couple this time .

I have finished a Zam off that got this big, so I can’t say much about structure. So far the only thing I can say has for sure passed down, BB x Zam 1 has a very similar bud smell. Other than that, they’re all running very different smells even.

Flowering plants are flowering… Day 30 or so. I had to supercropping a couple really tall branches in the back, but nothing seems to have been negatively impacted :metal:

Water is flowing in both beds. I have it a little jerry-rigged, but the pump return line is drying and should be ready today, which is the last piece of the new room setup! Also, my government disability cheque, which is supposed to be enough to help me live, went towards a small 3x2 tent, with a little shelf, I can use for seedlings and drying :metal:. I’m hoping to get that setup today as well, so I can start beans for the solo cup grow :grin::grin:

Not gonna lie, as my first potted plants, and considering all of these came from the “these are about to die, so they’re 75% off” bin, in pretty proud of these pots

Oh yeah, that plant I have that’s showing some mutations is still going. Buds growing multiple spots on a fan leaf when, even full branches growing out… Weird

Those flowers are beautiful, man! I can’t seem to do well with anything other than weed. I’ve got 3 tomato plants and 3 pepper plants and I think I’ll have enough to make some tacos lol

Nice, a petiole bud mutation. I’ve had a few like that! Some grew buds from the center of the leaf.

Thanks man!! Honestly, 99.999% of the credit goes to the watering globes, lol.

Cards on the table, these plants are quadrupling the number of plants I’ve ever been able to keep alive, hahaha.

I fill the globes, they water the plants . Every now and then (I think I’ve done it 2-3 times over the summer) I threw together some work casting tea with some 10-30-20 bloom booster in a 5 gallon bucket, filled the globes, and hand watered the rest of the bucket over the plants :person_shrugging:.

Apparently it was the right thing to do :person_shrugging::person_shrugging::grin:.

I started doing it to help my Mrs plants, so I could use them as my cover crop :joy::metal:

I just saw one like that (bud in the center of the fan leaf) on home grown cannabis on YouTube :metal:… That’d be a trip…

The full branch growing out of a fan leaf stem is messing with me out a bit, lol (I think there’s actually 2 growing full branches).

What’s odd is, I have a few plants of this strain doing it… The father was an F6, so that side is pretty stable… I’m not sure how far the mother was down, but I didn’t have anything like this from the mom, and siblings are doing it either :person_shrugging:.

I’m revegging her now (she started doing this in flower), I wanna keep her around for a bit
