Nice to see you getting a feel for your system! Plants growing and producing that’s awesome. It’s very cool of you to be trying these outside the box sorts of things. It’s quite helpful for many to observe your experience and such. Thank you for sharing your efforts. Wishing you wonderful success in your aquaponics endeavors! Much love

I’m especially interested to see what stuff like under the plastic, hoping you take photos of that. I always wonder how much cleaning and re-prepping is needed between runs, and love to see how the roots developed.

Very cool! Thank you for sharing. Do you have to pull out all the leftover roots, or will they compost during the down time, our just not matter at all to the next group of plants?
Lots of smallish, fast-maturing plants is my favorite way to go, so far.

so after drying and trimming, got 20 oz. I think the passive filter took out a bunch of nutes. I am redoing the tables and I’ll post pics in a day or so. happy turkey day!

OK, my phone broke so I was not able to take pics and post for a while. But here is what is happening.

The biggest thing I found was alge growth. I needed to cover the bed. So after a bunch of thinking, I found 2foot by 4 foot white board with chalk board on the reverse side at home depot. So I cut them to fit over the table. I then bought 2" net pots, cut 2" holes in the white board every 4" in a grid pattern. ( I actually cut the holes every 2" in a grid, but that was too close.) Then I loaded up the table with about 90 clones. I let them veg for a week. Now they have been flowing for 2 weeks. I also raised the drain by about 2" so there is water pooling on the table. That makes it so the bottom of the net cups just touch the water.

Here is the table after a week of veg and 2 weeks of flower.

So I have been pretty busy this last month. Sorry for not updating. But here is the latest pic of the table.

Those tall ones in the back are the chocolate Thai.

So I just want to talk about those chocolate thai plants. I started them as clones at about 6 inches tall. They have been in flower for 8 weeks. I’ll put pics up later, but they are 4 feet tall… branches all over the place. It looks like I’m only half way through with them. I can’t wait to try them.

Kinda curious about what happened here…
