Here’s my grow room setup. old basement furnace room in an old house where it gets cold in the winter. I have some UVA & UVB lights, Red lights, and IR Lights. along with a bunch of LED’s. This has been 2 years of constant improvements. Half of this room was a dirt floor. We just built the floor at the end of summer. It feels good to have the whole room, finally.
Clones are all the stuff from my spring grow. re-vegged. Sour diesel x pineapple express. luxor’s chocolate cbd. purple caper.
other ones are some fem testers. dirty bird - sugar rim & heart shaped lunchbox. hsc - gazzurple.
I have the intake register fans and exhaust shutter fans on ac infinity controllers. makes it pretty easy to keep the whole room in check. we had the humidifier on too much in veg, and got a bit of PM. might toss the windowsill box stuff if it doesn’t clean up better. those seedlings in the aloe plants are toast.
Anyways. There’s my grow room. It’s been a fun process feels good to just have a couple big LED’s and be done.

That’s my previous grow, with half the room, and first attempt at a trellis net. All the clones are from those plants. I’m excited to refill some jars.

Have you compared growing with vs without the UV? Are there noticeable differences and if so what differences have you noticed?

Sour diesel doesn’t like turning purple.
UVB = trichomes on everything. or it gets toasted n dies. like the fan leaves. some strains cannot take much uvb.
UVA = dark purple colors on most strains. color changes to absorb the light.
Reds = larger buds, more energy absorbed. thicker growth.
IR = stupid bugs love that stuff at night. longer spacing in veg. Bigger buds in flower.
Picture with UVB & FR/IR lights on. both on separate timers.
Some of the smaller lights have really hot UV & Reds. with the extra on/off switches on the light. It’s not the best UV meter, as I can’t separate the UVB/UVA light. it’s just totals of everything outside the PAR range. 400nm-700nm. It’s great for having an idea where I’m at, in extra lighting. I can’t improve things if I can’t measure things. Same with the Co2 meter.

These are from September, after finishing the floor, and bringing the outdoor plants inside to finish. We mounted the drivers for the Evo10 outside the room.
I have some UVB LED’s to test out with this current grow. Gonna use those on the new side for flowering. I just flipped them the other day.

Flipped to flower last week. SD x PE x CBD was male. chopped. along with 4 others from the windowsill boxes. Transplanted a GDP from a solo cup to the 5 gal. Cherry tomatoes popped up in there, too. Everything just got a heavy feeding.

And then the grid of webcam pictures. I need to move the 1 camera, it’s too low to be useful with this new setup. The other is just sitting on the table.
That dark one is with all the IR light. it shows up on the cameras. Second picture is the UVB lights, before lights-on. They’re on for a minute, along with the IR and FR/IR.
I still need to finish the wall. we ran out of panda film, and I ran out of energy. Along with re-hanging the lights. That Evo10 needs to be away from the walls by a foot or two. I have new hooks to put up. Same with finishing the walls w/ the reflective insulation stuff. there’s just a bit more to do, but I’m tired out after shoveling snow daily.
The seedlings that were in the aloe didn’t go real well. The Aloe grew like crazy, when that stuff was on a heat mat. I chopped out about 5 males yesterday. Things were flipped to flower 12/28 and just starting to show the sex on a few of those regular seeds. Everything just got a heavy top-dress feeding in the past 2 days. I probably should have flipped to flower a month or two ago.

Ah yeah. The first setup. even did the CAD layout. This was the old furnace room, and already had holes in the walls for the fans.

Solo Cups are Ice Cream Cake, Grand Daddy Purple, Jealousy, and a Cape Goat cross.
The PC1 has the purple/pink buds already. real excited for those 2 plants.
Bottom right is a SD x PE x Luxor’s Chocolate CBD. the other was male & chopped. I’m thinking I should use the pollen I have w/ the solo cup plants.
