Hey Y’all!

All are welcome here, unless you make negative or instigating comments towards me or others for no reason, as I will be quick to tag mods.

I stepped back from OG, avoiding most everyone here, but maybe a just few friends. Stepping back, completely avoiding popular threads, and creating a space to discuss Bodhi, are 3 ways I can try not to repeat recent occurrences.

Just like my other thread, that’s strictly for Norstar Genetics testers and adventures, this is the same for my Bodhi seeds. I’ll use this thread to discuss Bodhi gear I’m wanting, I’m trading for, and what I plan to F2.

Bodhi’s next in line to grow for sure, as I wrap up the the Norstar test run in my other thread.

I figured I can plan a little ahead here, talk about seeds, and show y’all just how crazy I can be with collecting genetics at times.

The last few months I’ve been on the heavy side of collecting no doubt.

So even though I had previously planned to do one more test strain for Norstar, I’ll likely squeeze in a few bodhi seeds next run with those for some diversity.

Then I’ll start F2ing a couple older packs to share, give back a bit to the community, and preserve them before growing those strains out just to smoke.

Oh wow, I didnt know Bodhi released the pure Uzbek. Amazing.
I never got to flower it, but I grew a pack in Washington state and they were nicer than PTK.

Caleb has them, it’s $120 for 21, which is a little cheaper than from Dagga Garden (and I presume there’ll be a CSI sale for April 20th).

I can’t remember who it was, maybe legsmahoney, but someone said the Uzbek they grew out was kinda gross tasting and they didn’t care for it. The DG description mentions Geranium terps, maybe that’s what they objected to about it. OTOH a review posted on the CSI site says it’s awesome, so there’s that.

I’m kinda hoping they turn out interesting enough and not gross, because I bought a pack from CSI a few years ago and he threw in another 10 seeds, so I have 31 of 'em.

Killer collection. I have a bunch of Bodhi as well and am high on wanting to f2 Mountain Temple as well. Like the goji project here, if you could do a grow while others grew the same then there could be come pollen sharing. I happen to grow out goji and got pollen from the goji project to make my own f2’s. Basically, don’t be opposed to working with others bro.

Probably so… not the same but I ran Petrolia Headstash outdoors a few years ago and found the flower flavor weird, but the hash was pretty nice.

Not to go too off topic, I have some ideas, Anthony, about getting the best prices for some of the beans you’re thinking of getting (like, Copa seems to do the best sales on DC Seed Exchange, might be worth holding out for some of his beans till you can get the crazy deal).

I have grown several seed packets of Copa. DC does have great deals on them. I just did the Project 25 and one more. I have done several of the tester packs. Good luck with your adventures.

@yardgrazer you nailed it bud, it was the Pure Kush (Suge’s cut) x Uzbek I still haven’t tasted the flower yet but the smells are like this nasty sour dirt and earth smell, just this side of “compost” smelling, not super appealing, can’t say if that would hit the same for the pure version though.

@Cbizzle ive got some of the hash drying in the freezer right now waiting to be pressed and rolled, im hoping the taste on that is better :grin::grin:

Edit: the plant grew beautifully outside though, not trying to discourage anyone from growing it, I was bummed that the smells didn’t agree with my palette when they cured out but no hate for the variety whatsoever

i am a big fan of bodhi and happen to have a respectable collection including some very old gems. i really want that appy from high & Lonesome as well. great breeder with exceptional genetics. CSI is another ive become extremely passionate about as well as ive rediscovered the beauty of fems in a photo world.
