They are, 90μm, 73μm and 25μm above. I didn’t expect the 73μm and 90μm to be different in any way.

hah hah yah you are really close. I start out like them but when I gain speed I just use my wrist and make super tight circles for max speed. Forces out the water really good.

I’m so close to being done this batch I can’t wait! Oh I forgot I took a photo of the freeze dried hash as well. It was surprising.
You can see the 90μm still looks the best, after freeze drying.

I think I am going to brew a special brew out of the 25μm shit blob(s). Something in a hash tincture! If it’ll do the thing I want it to do, then we’re in business. Part of that new contract was because of how hardcore I am. See the cannabis stores aren’t allowed to do the things I can because of the legal framework demands shitty tinctures. If you don’t believe me, go into the store and buy some hah hah! They might work on a mouse but not an elephant like me. It’s got to be that fuck you up shit, I’m talking high thc content. I am literally the thc man, don’t want no shitty cbd to bring me down… MAAAAN!

I guess this batch turned out different from the last? The colors are lighter on all the hash sizes… bah! Well the good news is these aren’t standardized batches yet. This gunk in the bottom of the freezer is unknown age and type. Could have been a year since it seen the light of day. Also the previous batch was… extra crispy or something? It made a million little chips of ice on top of the foam. Not sure why that happened but I only remember that with really old bud that was like freeze dried. Maybe that happened to the bottom shit when it got thawed out. One more batch to go, I can’t wait! I might make tincture out of the unknown dried weed sack. In a couple of days I’ll take a pic of all the hash blobs I made, before and after the new sacks.

fuck it.
The small ones are the 73μm and the bigger blobs are 90μm except the darker one. That was a batch made with my old bags. I think the old bags had just a 220 and 73 sack. Don’t really know, don’t care. They did their thing like champions, and are now onto a new life.

Super curious, need your opinion on optimal harvest time for bubble hash. I’ve heard you should harvest a week earlier than you would if you were to dry and cure the cannabis.

I’d harvest when the plants are ready to go. Was there some kind of theory or evidence or reasoning behind this early harvest thesis?

The person I was reading this from had no evidence or pictures proving any of this and I knew if there was a difference you’d have proof!
But in a nutshell he claims it helps flavor and color. I’ve read a lot about the sulfur uptake in the last couple weeks of the plants life and how that has (been proven) to increase terpenes! So I don’t really know if I like his word on it.

well, you could harvest half of it a week early and try to gather data on if it’s real or not.

I’ll regale you with the data from the contest/expo. The single thing that controls the color is your hash drying tech. If you start out with dried weed, there is no hope to have white colors it’s already dried in final form. The less time your hash is wet and exposed to temps above 0C, the lighter color it is. Freeze drying results in the lightest color and terpene profile. Quick drying it stays white but you lose some terps/melt.
OK! Now for the faceslap. I harvested a plant 4 weeks early and it made no difference. So that’s the side of the fence I’m on. The trichome caps are slightly smaller but not by much.

ok now here’s the real question… did “buddy” have a specific claim to make about the color? I mean you can always fool yourself, I suppose, into thinking there are more terps without proof. But fooling the color? Here’s some prime examples:
freeze dried 90μm… which is my favorite hash.
Then, shelf dried, same size.
Now for the 25μm, you can see plant material trapped in the hash makes it shitty…I mean dark and shitty.
even freeze drying this crap makes it almost appealing. If I hadn’t seen the images under the microscope, I could be fooled into thinking it was good. hah until I touched it, that is , and it’s all sandy with particles.

hah hah it’s actually really fun taking a microscopic photo of a trichome and then transforming it into a cartoon style image. I’m 100% assured it’s original that way. I just followed some tutorial off the internet, I think I could train the dog to do it 
But…she’s asleep right now.

I’m going to make a hash batch tonight! barring anything out of the ordinary! I have already cleaned the bags for the next round. I only use the freezer to clean the bags with coldness. No iso. It seems to work even better on these new bags, the micron screen is slippery.
