yah I clean it out every time. I save the frozen hash in an envelope made of parchment. One day I’ll crack it out and go crazy vaping that shit.
Wait, just to clarify, is this your process:
Add ice and water, mix immediately for 15min, then wait 30min before removing bags to get first cycle run of hash… then fill first washed buds back up again with water/ice?, mix immediately for 15min, then wait 30min to remove bags and remove second cycle hash from bags and that’s it?
Basically two piles of each bag size of hash from each batch?
Am I understanding that all correctly?
I def could be a lil off in my understanding since I use a washing machine that drains into the bags vs what I think you do in mixing the buds in a bucket with all the bags in there and then pulling each bag out of the ice water?
I’m trying to see what I can gather about your method to apply to the process I do because doing cycles 1.5, 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15min was a bitch and something I really would prefer not to do next time lol.

naw here’s a complete cycle:
- put the bags and ice and weed in the bucket.
- mix 15
- wait 30
- mix 15
- wait 30
- toss out the weed and ice.

With some dedication, you can definitely pull it off. The hard part is finding the plants that produce the good hash.

Wax is a BHO product, like shatter, but it has a different consistency.

Like shatter, wax is a BHO concentrate that has the consistency of coconut oil and looks, for lack of a better description, like ear wax. Like shatter, wax starts off as the amber liquid that results from butane extraction.
Whether by accident or by design, the extracted oil is agitated or heated differently to produce an opaque material that can range in consistency from peanut butter to the aforementioned ear wax to honeycomb.

Yield isn’t much a concern of mine as is effect. I have grown several strains that I am just like… Man I want to make some hash out of this right now. But the flowering on them takes so long - risking some bad hash technique isn’t worth it to me… I end up making some dirty dry sift out of sugar leaves
what do they call it when it’s made from supercritical CO2? heh heh they got so many names and so many processes… it’s hard to keep their names all straight!

hmmmm…effect? I am questioning if most of the effects are psychogenic. I mean, it’s sure not going to cure cancer. But it does help me deal with reality.

I never got high off flavors, I prefer some good 'ol delta 9 THC, now that shit really enters my mind and says hello. Of course, if it tastes like dirty socks, don’t expect me to want any.

I ran some material 5 times, re froze what was leftover.
Whole thing frozen solid, let it sit overnight ice water in a bucket to soften.
Mixed it the next morning. Quality looks like you’d expect but hash is better than no hash.
Got 4 washes before it was looking too small and green to be worth it anymore.
I let the water sit for a day then filtered through the 25, got a sizable chunk but its green and kinda slimy, might be good for edibles.

If I were to buy my bags again I’d go with full mesh instead of stitched canvas.
You can just drop the whole bag in the machine and drain it

Cool, I got another batch going right now…
This time, I’m going to do it sort of like you, I’m gonna mix for 15, let it settle for another 15min, drain, fill back up with ice and water and repeat… after those two cycles I will then take that hash out and then do one more cycle to compare yield and quality between the combined first two cycles and the third one.
Also, this time I added a 160 bag as my waste bag so I should get some pure 120 besides my other bags to compare.
Running about 300grams this time, how much do you typically run at a time?
I usually put in about 700 grams of wet material.
