Damn, wish I had that much, I ended up drying the rest as regular flower and I only really had like 2, 2.5 plants
Ok here are the results:
Combined first and second wash
Orange/yellow120; black 90; red 73; green 45; blue 25
This is the combined third cycle and a partial (half run with ice I had left) fourth cycle run…
The third and fourth didn’t yield as much and the quality was probably a lil worst, but overall I don’t think it was that bad and possibly worth it for someone who doesn’t have that many buds to work with… I prob should have put a penny or something next to it, but maybe I can try weighing it all after it dries in the freezer for a couple of days…
One kind of annoying and possibly cool thing is, afterwards I was going thro the buds to dry them for a qwiso and realized they were full of immature seeds however I think I found two that might possibly be good:
Anyone have any idea how I might best preserve them or is it too late now because they were in the wash?

You could try freezing them. I usually toss those rando seeds, I already gathered a few for backup in case I get level 3 biohazard. They are stored in the fridge.
Your second photo the hash looks more like the kind I crank out, the first photo it looks kind of grey… is there plant material or chlorophyll trapped in there?
Honestly, the pictures are terrible, I was trying to mess with the white balance to get it to look like it does in real life and I don’t think I really accomplished that unfortunately…
I’ll take some more when they are dry out of the freezer

The Meat breath trichomes are getting pretty big! I can’t wait to make the hash out of these ones. I am so curious how it will turn out!

When you’re bending it, is that from straight out of the freezer?

nope, it was on the shelf drying. All the waxes I made this way are still like bubble gum! Here’s the interesting part! There is a thin edge layer that is still flexible and translucent. I think the secret is making a very thin layer. Then it stays like wax after drying!

So the second image is the fail image. The first one is the succeed image. Definitely just thinner! Super thin! OK well that’s the secret then.

I’m making another hash batch tonight. Hopefully I can crank off all the remaining buds… clear out the freezer for the next kind. Also… I Think I have to go to the Store and purchase another hydroponic system. I totally blew my chance to get my hands on buddy’s… oh my intuition on trying to get that thing was so right, shouldn’t have second guessed it. That’s ok! I think I can purchase a new one for under 100$ after all it’s just an air pump and some buckets. fuuuck!

Teach me. Everyone keeps telling me to look up ‘frenchy’ but I remember watchingg this thread and u said to someone on here not to go that route. I havent harvested yet. 15 weeks and counting on a pure sativa and have been considering your tech… If I’m going to do it it’s gotta be done the right way, you know?

A lot of questions but starting with the harvest I suppose. I recently was able to try some as you would describe it “cocaine powder white hash”. It was incredible!.. Running a whole plant, but not concerned about time. Curing trim before freezing? Skipping freezing all together?
Time and quantity arent of concern. Looking to make a novelty hash from this plant as I’m not sure many hashes are made from it. The buds smell of fresh squeezed lemons and are covered in resin & trichs. But the yield of the plant is low.
