I’m ripping off another freeze dried batch as we speak! Photos are coming I’m only 1 cycle in.

ohh shit I’ve already ripped a gram of that last batch of hash I made. Greasy monkey! I’m gonna have to make an envelope out of parchment and hide it in the freezer.

Let’s see a lil in a container in freezer with silica pack or even a boveda!

Make sure it’s not a tiny silica packet for a huge container tho or else it’s a lil pointless…

Maybe two containers (or four if you want to try with each type of packet), one you take in and out of the freezer, one you just leave it in there?

Just something fun to try if you want

I was thinking some rice kernels eh? They work pretty good at absorbing moisture as well… plus I got shit like that in the cupboard.

For sure, give it a try, it’s not like you have only a lil precious hash to play with right?

The hash turned out excellent! I didn’t let any little fibers drain through the first bag into the 90 micron. well, you can see a few. But look at the 25 micron sack in the last photo, Fucking radical.

I find just drying it in on a piece of parchment paper on a table within a few days it’s dry enough to put away . Just chop up the glob when it’s wet spread it out and let it dry . For storage I’ll jar it and keep in a dark spot or it can be kept in the freezer.

I have yet to run any bubble.
i’ve got bags and i have frozen trim, why do you say only buds?

My plan was to use my clones to do my first run they are in veg now. I wanted to try the bud from the mothers just to see how it was as smoke. So I know if its worth growing again. I can’t just use my whole harvest to try bubble the first time.

Yah, one thing is for certain, I always be freezin! The secret is in the freeze drying process, trust me. It’s a good thing. This process has replaced the shelf drying, and if you try it… what I call “forever frozen” tech it’s where the flavor is at my friend.
This here is the foam off the 25 micron hash at uhh probably 500 and a thousand times magnification.

buds are where the yield is at. Also the leaves get wound around my drill cake mixer system heh heh. I harvest the top 1/3 of the plant and make the rest into hash. This round though, I am making the entire harvest into hash, as I have kilos of weed.

first world problems…

Ok, that makes sense, I’m just getting growing again so I have no reserves built up. I got a second harvest upcoming 2 plants in the next 2 weeks, 1 may need 3 week tops. Then clones staggered out a month apart each also already in flower.

Never thought of cutting the lowers off and freezing for bubble while the kola spears are drying. That thought is too simple, I tend to overthink things especially while stoned.

I hope to have at least one damn first world problem, kilos of excess weed is the one i want!!!

Thanks I’ll have to try that next hash run I do .

ok! I am prepping for the next run and I already ripped a few nugs from the last hash batch. Turns out spinning the hash around for a while until water stops coming out helps it freeze dry faster. Who would have thought?
This run is going to be big buds! I am excited for some radical fruity hash. Mmm I am loving the fresh hospital taste of the meat breath though it’s good stuff!

ok Just in the final sitting on my ass phase. That was a sevendust/red hot chilli peppers batch! I altered the technique a tiny bit when I am taking the 220 bag out, I do it quickly. I am pretty sure the plant material that contaminated my freeze dried batch came dripping out of the bottom of that sack in a stream of fiber water. This is the final test to see if that’s working out for me. :crossed_fingers: lol!

What happened to the silica packet type test?
