My Bubble hash making tech

No offense @JoeCrowe. To me? It looks like you just put a uterus into a bag, and spun the crap out of it? Are we making hash seeds? :joy:

Some samples for the sponsors, so they can see what their money is buyin’! Super high tech hash methods, yo! Once they cuddle with a puddle, their brains will be muddled! bah hah hah!

Yo that show off meeting netted me some new grow equipment I really need, cool tubes. I really threw the $$$ around at the store lol!

centripetal acceleration is the way to go. The meat breath hash I made normally and put in there to freeze dry weeks ago still has moisture in it. I need to go back in time and warn myself hah hah. But really, going forwards all batches will be dried with centripetal acceleration before it goes into the freezer. 30 seconds of rotation saves weeks of drying. I think it saved 99% of the drying time.

My beer frosted is looking like its going to work a treat. 20°F and 40%RH in there right now. I’m making some ice now as I want to give it a test this weekend on some old trim.

is it fresh frozen? or dried trim. Don’t be tellin’ me… you’re using dried materials!!!

Yeah, it’s dry trim. It’s just a test run to see how it works. I’ll be harvesting my room in another week, so that will all go to fresh frozen.

can’t wait to see what it’s like! I mean the fresh stuff. The dried material won’t make white hash.

wow reading back on the thread I was experimenting with acceleration in august. I hadn’t completed all the other steps yet, though for the ultimate freeze drying experience. Took a while to cement the whole process! Amazing.

I forget, does it ever turn into powder for you?

When it’s frozen in the freezer it’s a powder if you touch it, it crumbles. Once you take it out of there, it gets sticky. Melts on contact with your hand.

Think it would also be a powder if stored in a fridge? Mine are in a busted ass freezer section of a mini fridge, not ideal, and I feel like I have a mix of some powder and other more stuck together when touched… not sure how it should be lol

Joe, I saw someone take the damp hash ball and sifted it thru a fine mess strainer. Just to spread it out like sand to dry faster or more evenly. Have you ever tried anything similar, or any reason to avoid that?

I think the hash would stick to the strainer, it’s very sticky! I cut mine up with an x-acto knife into tiny bits. Works really good.

You could always try and rip some, see if there is any moisture left.

As someone who has never made a batch of hash before in their life this thread has been an experience. But hey, now whenever I get the itch to go make some I think I’ll be ready. Thanks Hash Mat.

I’m in the same boat as you. I got bags, but never run a batch yet.

I dont want to screw up good flower, so I think I am overthinking everything about the process.

Oh I just don’t quite have the surplus to make a significant batch yet. Only done my second harvest so far and neither were monster hauls like these old stoners pull in seemingly every other day lol. Hell, I’ve never even tried hash before so all this is theoretical for me. I’m still not 100% on every step myself though. I’ve got it down until we go to dry the stuff and then I start worrying.

Man we really are in the same place. I just took my second plant. Not as good as my first one. So I didnt want to chance my stash. I got a third coming down sunday. I’m thinking of trying to run half of it as a test run because I still want to try out the cured flower too. I just want something I can rip with my honey straw.
