My first bagseed grow

It could be just the lights, but if it’s budrot I’ll probably be able to see it now. I’ll update with a horror story if it is.

When I click on the pic it ups the clarity a bit. She’s just a odd kind of frosty compared to the rest of the girls

I made sure and checked, but it appears it was a lighting issue. The glittery appearance rn is absolutely amazing. They look like they were rolled in powdered glass until you look close.

The best way to describe it is a hairy candy. They’re all sticky looking and covered in trichomes now.

Lmk if you want any night pics. It’s absolutely stunning rn.

It just looks like one piece that’s crunchy brown. Like caterpillers do. If it is, I think you just cut out the little section, it may have happened during the overwatering though and might not even spread. Could be just a dead spot now that can be trimmed out later. If it’s not just the lighting. Def not trying to bum you out, just alerting you if it is the case.

Oh good!!! Just read this after my previous post

I have to charge my phone for a few minutes, but I can take some pics without the lights changing color to be safe. I see you meant Sadie and not Holly. I’ll look again as I can’t be too careful with budrot.

Edit: just checked and none. Just a shadow from the lights

I’ll definitely want to take some pics before lights on. I see a lot of red hairs at night, but they usually vanish by morning. I found out yesterday it might be because they’re getting snapped/sliced off from windshear. I found some fallen hairs around Harmony’s buds earlier. Like watching her go bald

I think it’s easier to learn on autos. They are shorter and if you screw them up, it won’t be long until you can grow a new batch. lol

A quick harvest too, so you have smoke when you decide to experiment later

That was my thought originally, but seeing a huge plant brings me joy

My autos are pretty damn big dude. I have an almost 3 footer out there now

Do they do that well indoors? It’s legal in Mass as long as it’s out of view from all except helicopters and binoculars. No reason it can’t be out of view of those too, just those are legally allowed to see your outdoor grows only.

I can’t at all at my place. There’s kids that come through the yard a lot. Apparently keeping it isolated and making house rules to not touch the plants or else you won’t be welcome back isn’t a good option :man_shrugging:t2: I mean kids don’t listen unless they fear the results or understand the consequences of their actions. I was taught well as a kid. I had my anger issues from a combo of not knowing why and being a pill experiment with more side effects than issues. I still knew not to destroy anything anyone else owned. Maybe it’s because I value my things, so I can understand someone else’s side.

I’m high and rambling now. I did a dab mid reply. Oops LoL

I took some night pics for you. Harmony looks absolutely stunning. I can’t even put into words how good she looks in that pic, but I’ll just say welcome to what I see😁

Now Sadie

Holly

And Ingrid

Sorry about the blur. I’m working blind in there off memory

Very Nice! Way to rebound!! :evergreen_tree: (btw… Mine are named Auto 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 and Reveggers 1, 2, 3… ) :joy:

Can’t say on autos, but mine are a Sativa dom. Auto #1 is showing it’s Indica gene big time out of the 5…make it 10, as all my plants are Sativa doms. Anyway, Auto #1 is the shortest and quickest budding one at only like a foot. It’s bud is fat and juicy though.

Nice! I can’t wait until I have a way to have a perpetual harvest. Though a really nice grow will definitely help me to last until my first auto harvest. I’ll be growing both when I’m able to. I have a feeling I’ll like autos, but I’m definitely enjoying my long term grows too. The aromatherapy it gives is definitely needed. My friend is pissed off at me because I’m always calm unless confused lately. Not my fault you want me to react.

So remind me what I’m looking for 2 inches down? I’ve been thinking zero moisture in the soil in the 1st 2 inches. Basically dry dirt.

Currently I’m at see moisture on the 2nd inch down, but really not a lot. The soil doesn’t dry evenly either. Wish I could find the reason on that.

I just can’t get 2 inches down though. The roots start at 1 inch down

I saw the soil became hydrophobic in the first inch and past that it’s all roots. I can’t check the 2nd inch without tearing roots.

I watered with 8g MC, 100ml of fpj, and 5ml of Castile soap. It smelled like Pepsi. Maybe I’ll try some in the morning. See what the plants love so much about it.

The garlic is all dying on me. I guess it’ll help with the gnats once it decomposes.

I have some garlic cloves again. So I can make a soil drench for my next watering if they continue to be a pest. I’ve just noticed that they seem to be sorta stupid after I watered with the fpj. Is it possible for gnats to get drunk? I’m pretty sure I have a acceptable ABV in the fpj based on that carbonation that wants to burst a ball jar lid. Well that and the fact if I touch it with my bare hands I get intoxicated like if I had made a very potent green dragon and splashed it on my hands.

I’m about to pass out in the next hour.

Here’s the underdog Ingrid

Holly is looking better, but I can’t think of anything special today.

Harmony looks good too😁 makes me wish she was ready now, but I know she’ll only get better from here

Sadie looks great today. I can’t wait to see how she’ll be later on. Almost appears like she’s following Harmony’s trend of forming a dense bunch of buds.

Her bottom cola actually seems to be better off than the main cola.

So far I’m not seeing any chlorotic leaves on Harmony like usual. I made sure to feed her more than the rest. Any time I gave them water I fed her too. ⅓ of the cup went to Harmony and even for the plant the cup was meant for. Roughly 10 cups filled and I was out of water for the girls.

That leaf was already going chlorotic yesterday, but it’s going at a slow pace. Different from usual. This one is gradually lightening in color. I did leave the leaves that went yellow last time on Harmony. Last time I took them off I saw more turn and I basically defoliated her.

So far no more dying leaves on Harmony. The soil is drying out already. 8g seems to be the dosage for them. 5g per gallon shows deficiencies on Harmony. The rest show mild issues. This time they didn’t have anything go wrong after watering. I’ll just make sure she gets more of the water than the rest of the girls. She’s definitely a thirsty girl🧜
Must be taking after my GF. Harmony wants to be a mermaid LoL

During the day it appears that trichomes reduce in number. They always bounce back at night, but if I’m giving them light stress I should probably find a way to solve that ASAP. Just trying to find what’s causing it. My guess is the UV lights, but I saw strong improvement in the girls after I installed them. Enough that my friend commented to never remove them. It was a Stark difference. I saw them so frosty the next day and the smell was enough to cover the whole house in dank smell. I got the comments about smell that day actually. I’ll try raising the lights. I just need more than 2 hands with my current setup.

I took a couple of pics of Sadie. She’s very frosty today. Definitely working hard to look candy coated LoL

The soil has dried up at 2x the speed it did last. The garlic is still severely wilted. Looksike they’ll die with the small cuttings soon. Everything not a cannabis plant seems to be dying. Either not enough nutrients, not enough water, or too much. IDK what is causing it. They all nearly died after the drought, so it’s probably related to that.

I literally just noticed that the gnats are almost completely gone today. I saw 7. Total. 1 on the soil. 4 on underside of the leaves at the bottom. And 2 on stems near the soil. Is it possible for me to have hope here? I can’t explain why other than the fpj is helping :man_shrugging:t2:

Correction Holly has the last of them around her soil. No other plants are where they collect. Can someone help me understand what’s going on here?

If you only have a few fungus gnats, a couple yellow sticky traps will catch them quickly.
