First time indoor grow
Tent - AC infinity 3x3
Strain - CBX MT Zereal
Flipped to flower on 6/12
I started this grow all because I got a seed in one of my CBX jars which I took as a sign to try. So I started this one in my garage actually just germinating under my garage window light . It sprouted to the moon and I realized it wasn’t getting enough light . I threw it outside for a few weeks where she did very well . After coming to the conclusion it was likely a female . I invested in the tent and brought her inside my garage. The only constant battle I have is gnats but I seemed to keep all the other pests at bay . I’ve made it to about week 6 of flower and I’m so stoked on the progress. I obviously was not really trying to invest in a second tent set up to take a clone before flipping so now I’m here getting ready to harvest soon and I know I want to keep the strain .im going to attempt to reveg. I just bought a second tent that should arrive tommorow. Just the tent . So I can use an exhaust hose and pull air from it to use as a drying tent for my harvest . I have a fear my garage is not going to be cool enough for cool drying my plants so I got a little portable ac swamp cooler coming that I hope helps . Any tips or tricks are welcome. I currently have her in a 15gallon smart part and I’m not sure I have the space to up pot but I think I’m going to repot in another 15 gallon and replace most the soil that falls off so I can get rid of gnat larvae in the process . The only defense I’m using is very subtle dish soap and a preying mantis which doesn’t seem to being all too much lol
It’s a reputable brand that I trust every single time when it comes to quality and not physically seeing the weed when I select online for delivery . I never seen a seed before in any one of their strains so i knew this one was going to be special. Here is a picture from online for what it should look like when it’s done .
Some lower branches are looking very tempting to pluck and start drying early. Any thoughts on harvesting some early? My tallest colas are still very white with pistils but the lower smallest buds are turning amber. Picture below.
I noticed a slight foxtail growth at the peak of my largest colas so I researched the whole lowering the daylight gradually to emulate autumn. I just started today by reducing the light intensity because how close the top colas are to the light . I’m at the max height in the grow tent with the light so I’m not sure what other options I have … I’m also doing 30 minutes today more of darkness where I think I will gradually get to about two hours more of darkness before I harvest . Next post will be picture of foxtail
Update : at week 7 I cut a small branch so I could practice drying and curing techniques before the big enchilada . After about 4 days of drying and 2 days of curing. I ended up smoking it all and it got me really faded. The taste wasn’t all there because it was cut premature and smoked premature but long story short I gave my main plant another week or two flush and just cut her down this morning
Replaced all soil that fell off the root ball when transplanting
Added worm castings and fox farms and changed the lighting to 20/4 .
How am I doing ? This is my first grow and first attempt at re veg. My plan would be to re veg enough to pull clones to make new mothers . Hopefully I left enough foliage ? Too many shoots ? Let me know
