Keep up the good work.
Good stuff. Grab a turkey baster to suck out extra water in saucer. Keep it up.
good idea, way better than what i’m doing now lol, thanks
think she’s all done stretching maybe? buds thickening up and getting frosty all over the sugar leaves
Excellent. Will still grow a little more vertically, but they’re going to start swelling up and get thicker. Gonna have 6 full colas. Not going to finish for another 5 weeks or so, but make sure to have some trim scissors, magnifying loupe, and a drying space planned out in advance. Nothing to do for awhile but water and watch it grow. Also, there’s no reason for you to defoliate at all. Every part of your plant is getting full light so just let it go. You won’t have “lowers” or “larf”, just 6 big buds.
awesome sounds good, out of curiosity what should i expect in terms of yield? i know it’s super early and a lot of factors play into that but just from your bud growing knowledge what do you think it’ll be, judging how she looks currently?
So, I think it’s an auto NL? Yield, outside of veg time, is pretty strain specific and I personally don’t fuck with autos… like, at all. Outside of commercial grows I’ve never understood people using strains with any kind of ruderalis, so I’m not sure. If it was a photo I would guess between 7-10 gms per cola, so maybe 2 oz.'s or so total dry weight, but that’s if it has access to everything it needs. U may want to research your next choice carefully as a lot of time and concern are put into these types of endeavors, and a very well grown, but mediocre harvest, can be discouraging.
this is actually just a normal photo bag seed went 60 days from seed before i flipped to flower, the northern lights auto seed i planted never sprouted but originally it was a nl auto and a random bag seed i found out of some really solid bud, not sure what strain. only the bag seed came up
Good looking plants!
hey thank you bro! when do you plan to get a few in dirt? looking forward to following along!
Hopefully very shortly! Some awesome members in this group sent me some seeds because didnt have any and blew my budget on most of the equipment lol so as soon as they come in ill be getting started hopefully mine will look as good as yours!
it’s an expensive hobby that’s for damn sure
but it’s a beautiful process, and there’s some very helpful folks on this site that’ll help you along the way, including myself(as much as my newbie self can lol). and like i said before just don’t be afraid to just reach out and gain some of that knowledge ![]()
if i would give any advice from my experience on this first grow it would be do not overwater, as its probably the main problem new growers face, including myself, now i’m battling a severe gnat infestation due to overwatering pretty bad for about a week straight in veg.
2nd piece of advice i have to give you would be, consider powdered nutes— i believe this is more personal preference but from my experience thus far they’ve made my growing experience 10x better since switching. I got a lot of liquid nutes 2nd hand from the fella i purchased all of this equipment from so i figured i’d give them a go, they require alot of work pretty much every feed compared to just top dressing a few scoops and going on about your business. i was having to measure out exact measurements, test ppms, test runoff, follow feeding charts etc etc. now i just top dress roughly once a week, ph my water and that’s that.
Look at you growing. This is super fucking awesome to see. I can’t wait to see what your next grow holds. And if I had to guess the yield from it. You’ll have a 1 solid marijuana.
1 solid marijuana was actually my goal this whole time!! next go around i’m hoping for 3-4 solid marijuanas ![]()
That’s how you do it. Just remember it’s not about the weight. It’s about the journey.
you are absolutely right ty for all the wise words and guidance the mary jane ![]()
Damn balls
