Hi there everyone. I am currently new to this site and fairly new to growing. I have been growing perpetually for about a year now. I have made my rookie mistakes. I think we all have. Anyways, I wanted to create a journal here for people to follow along, maybe even give me some tips. We learn something new every day right? I seem to be blocked from posting since I am a new member, so I want to keep the introduction short just in case it doesn’t let me post. Once I can actually post again, I will give the details on my grow spaces. I didn’t get a warm welcome and thought about leaving in under 2 hours from first signing up. Probably was my sign but we will see where this goes.

Just so you know what happened… you chose to drop your first posts in a sponsors thread who has had a lot of volatile activity lately… was an unlucky choice. Threads have been moved, posts have been deleted and an old time member has even been banned (hopefully not for long) due to the state of affairs, particularly with one member who you have heard from already.

Welcome aboard, still making mistakes but I noticed that if you increase the number of plants there’s more chance for having a survivor

I am a new grower on my first grow. When you start putting up pictures and adding details, I’ll follow along.

So I think I can actually post now that I am able to create a journal. With that being said, I’d like to give my grow room details for each stage of the plant.
**Seedling & Clone Box: ** I built a small box using some 2x4’s and plywood that I had laying around. Measures 3ftx3ftx4ft. I used Mylar sheeting on the inside as well for reflective material. I then cut 2 small holes on the back side to allow proper air circulation. I use a little blurple LED in this area. Lighting hours are 20/4
Veg Tent: Right now I use a 2x4 tent ( cheap Ipower ) with two 4 in duct fans for intake and exhaust with one oscillating fan inside. Normally I keep 8 plants in this area. I have lit the tent with one Mars-Hydro TSL-2000. Light hours drop down to 18-6 in this area. I also like to keep my temps around 80f with lights on and around 70F with lights off.
Flowering Tent and Closet: Once I flip my lighting to 12/12, I normally pick 4 of the biggest and move them to my closet. The other 4 go to my 3x3 Ipower tent. I use two 6 inch fans for intake and exhaust. Lights being used in the tent are as follows, Viparspectra 450w LED, one Giixer 1000w LED. That Giixer provides white light and for a small light works quite well. In my closet, I lined the walls with Mylar sheeting completely. I cut a hole in the wall leading in for an intake box fan and vent it with a 6 in exhaust fan. Lights used in the closet are one Mars-Hydro TSL-2000 and one TS-1000. I like to keep my temps around 75-80f in both areas with lights on and around 70f lights off.
Now that I have my areas described, I’ll move on to the medium and nutes. I am a soil grower. Most likely always will be. ( Though I do have a Water Farm on the way to try out ). I have always used Fox Farm Ocean Forest and their trio of nutrients with GH Cal-mag.
I personally like to start in Solo cups and around 2 weeks move into my final 3 gallon fabric pots. I am still learning how to navigate this site a little and hopefully things change from my welcome here. Please at any time, join in, give tips or just follow along. Thanks for stopping in.

The current strains I have running at the moment. Durban Poison, Blue Cookies, Blue Dream, Early Skunk F4, Girl Scout Cookies, White Widow, Alaskan Purple Kush, Critical Purple Kush and Dr Seedsman 30:1 CDB.

Like I said I don’t work nor sponsor Mars. I have bought everything I own. I got free nutes once though and a actually pretty sweet Giixer LED light. Does that count?

Thanks. I get what people were saying by my first posts and how fishy it looks. I was trying to respond but it kept sayin 9 more hours and blocked everything. I couldn’t even respond in my own journal after I created it.
