Just a random guy on the internets opinion, but you still have to go through your first dry and cure, correct? I might suggest doing a smaller run so you get a better feel of the full size/smell the strains you’ve selected can have, before such a big increase. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I was thinking the same thing Barry.

@Wakamaka4 you need to gradually build your numbers as you get used to growing more plants at a time.

Bigger numbers create bigger challanges, especially with different strains in the same group, possibly requiring different amounts of nutrients.

You could be running up however many flights of stairs to the roof with 2 five gallon buckets of water every 3-4 days.

Patience bro. I’m ready for you to be able to smoke also. It’s a long wait. This is gonna be good when you finally get to!

It is tempting to pick the plants early but you will be rewarded for your patience. the same holds true once you pick it and are letting it dry - don’t just stick it in the oven and dry it that way, let it dry naturally and you will enjoy it that much more. Patience is important when growing.

I watch a lot of videos by Dr. Bugbee from the university of Utah, this is man has 30 years of experience in growing hemp, not only growing but making different types of experiments all the time with them. and he says that NPK 20-10-20 is the best ratio that you can use for your plant, and non of the fertilizer commercials have this ratio.

I am not sure if I can trust this man because I can see all of you probably doing fine without 20-10-20 right?

How reputable is this man in the US?

Yeah, @Wakamaka4, I’m really glad to see you progressing. We all learned just like you; the hard way, lol. Every mistake or failure is a major learning milestone.

Patience is most definitely the hardest part about this sport. Even after growing it for years. But, the rewards are really worth it all.

You don’t have to have all amber trichomes to chop. Mostly cloudy with about 10-20% amber is probably where most people chop. Having a little amber insures that the flowers have matured enough for the THC to be at the peak. Too much waiting and the THC starts degrading. Too early to chop and the THC will not be fully developed.

Awesome job, man! I agree with others; for now keep it to a few plants and you will be much happier. I was trying to grow a lot of different strains at once and it nearly killed me, lol. Maybe not that bad but it took all of my time and more mistakes tend to take over.

Do a few plants at a time and you will really learn a lot. It takes a lot of patience and just hanging out with the plants but in the end you will have managed to bring them to their best and enjoy top notch buds. Too many different strains at once can be a real juggling act because lots of strains will have different needs and it can be frustrating if they all require a little different handling.

I had to back off and I only have one in flower about finished and only one about to go into flower again and then a few more of another strain coming up as seedlings. I’m much more relaxed and enjoying the extra time I have for the plants I have growing.

Awesome job! Hang in there for the hardest part (waiting) but the best part once you properly dry your bud and let it cure a little. Stay safe as well. Be careful of telling others about your grow. peace

Guys who proposed fabric pots, wanna ask you a question. Many people say that I should water the plant wit pot sauce. Should I start watering from the bottom from day 1?

I mean when the plant is too small it will take hell of a water to waste so the moist will raise from bottom to the top, and also the top soil will get dry faster than bottom, so will I have to water it even if the bottom hasn’t been dry completely?

Thanks guys.

I ordered 10 pots for autos so far, and I will plant two Kali Mist fem photos just to see what’s gonna happen with them during the rain season.

I am not a fan of feeding fabric pots from the bottom, I feed them from the top, I don’t like to have it sitting around in a pool of water.

I prefer to top water also. You will have to lift the pot. If it is light, it’s needs watered. If it is heavy, it does not.

I would water from the top. Remember the bigger your plant gets the more water it’s gonna need.
I have 3 gallon fabric pots. I went from a half gallon of water per pot a week to a half gallon twice a week in no time

So what is your method of watering? Do you lift the pot or you dig the soil?

Lifting the pot is my preferred method . Once you get the feel for it , its easy to know when to water .

You can always stick your finger in the soil about an inch. If soil sticks to your finger you have good moisture, if nothing sticks you need to water.
