Matanuska-Susitna Valley (/mĂŠtəˈnuːskə suːˈsÉȘtnə/; known locally as the Mat-Su or The Valley) is an area in Southcentral Alaska south of the Alaska Range about 35 miles (56 km) north of Anchorage, Alaska.[1] It is known for the world record sized cabbages and other vegetables displayed annually in Palmer at the Alaska State Fair.

Is this inside or out? Is it gonna grow to produce some world record sized nugs? Thousand pound nugs, like the pumpkins? And what’s its relation to Thunderfuck? I never had the thunder, but sure heard of it. That’s kinda like KGB (killer green bud), never had that unless it’s just a ref to all skunk weed phenos.

I wiki’ed thunderfuck and hell, Leafly says it’s related:

Alaskan Thunder Fuck (also referred to as ATF, Matanuska Thunder Fuck or Matanuska Tundra) is a legendary sativa marijuana strain originating in the Matanuska Valley area of Alaska. According to the legend, it was originally a Northern California sativa crossed with a Russian ruderalis, but sometime in the late 70s it was crossed with Afghani genetics to make it heartier (and also making it a hybrid). Alaskan Thunder Fuck usually presents large, beautifully frosted buds with incredibly strong odors of pine, lemon, menthol, and skunk. Known for possessing a relaxing yet intensely euphoric high, it is also described as having a “creeper” effect as well as pronounced appetite enhancement.

pH uncertain, my meter is ruined. New one on the way.

I had the original Matanuska Thunder Fuck (bikers cut) clone only strain for 20yrs. back in the day
I also made my own personal crosses with it
 Nowadays anything that comes outa the valley are considered MTF

Where did you get it from.ak bean brains? Not many places offer mtf, i grew the hybrid from Sagarmatha. I honestly dont remember the grow other than it being minty

Still no definitive sign as to sex. But im treating this plant as if it may turn out female. If not almost 6 weeks of wasted time from the day i planted the seed.

You should consider paying a couple bucks next time for testing. Cut a lil sample of material and send off and they tell you m or f. Seems like alot of hardwork you did to have it be a male. Regardless nice plant the stalk is huge. Good luck 2 you

Thank you. Most of the stalk is a foam wrap. The diameter of the stalk is about two thirds of an inch at best.
