My Vida Loca Bwuahahaha

Maybe calcium or potassium? @George whatcha think?
I gave up on ffof a couple years ago but I hope you get it figured out.

I’m thinking a calmag issue too, but crimeny they’re not even a month in and this dirt should be preloaded with nutes.

I mean, I guess it’s time I finally learn deficiency and reaction to fix, but not with autos :joy: thx @HolyAngel

What’s the good alternative soil? I’d like to just use soil for the autos. Thx @HolyAngel

Honestly, I have no idea  I won’t run dirt indoors anymore. @ReikoX would be the better person to ask but you’d likely need to make a mix rather than just buy something premade. Or amend with teas or osmocoat or something

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. So basically unless I’m wanting to tinker with that, I guess for what it’s worth I should just anticipate these speed bumps with the pre-mix soil and I learn how to read the plants and just grow em best I can.

I’m definitely not interested in learning organic or living soil, it’s enough to work with the hempy buckets. Just want a set it and forget it, and if I have some work to deal with I suppose deficiencies etc. With the ffof I guess it is what it is @HolyAngel . Don’t blame you not dealing with soil, I seem to do better soil-less as well.

We have roots! Hallelujah, I did not kill them yet, so there’s still hope for a Lavendar seed run.

I just purchased my sts for the reversal, and the idea is since I have 5 fems, is I’ll reverse 1 of each of the phenos into male, then pollinate the other fems. Won’t be reg seeds, but at least it’ll (hopefully) be a boatload of fem seeds.

I’ll be growing out and taking clones prior to any pollination.

Yay! At least this is on track so far! It seems that I’m moving to a slow cloning/veg/flower roll. I’m ok with that.

Took a couple fruity pebbles clones today as well. Labeled them all with pipe cleaners.

These autos have me questioning my existence.:joy: jk, but they really are a little frustrating for me.

I must’ve loved these as I bought 2 packs of them but haha imagine that can’t find any info on them. Edit - discovered purchased from The Seed Bazaar. Apparently this breeder used to be associated with Darkhorse Genetics. Drama fallout blah blah, allegedly, I only know what Reddit said. :joy::rofl::woman_facepalming:

Anyone recognize this breeder and strain?

Idk, the graffiti on the bottom looks like T.H.CHECZAR? Don’t remember hearing about a breeder with that name or anything close to it.

So I’ve come to the conclusion that (maybe?) I don’t want 4 massive seeded plants. I’ll move the male to the smaller tent in another room.

They say 4-5 weeks till pollen starts dropping and I could collect and selective pollinate branches on each lady.

What’s the best way to do this?

I’m torn between having to go thru the extra effort of the separation or just making 15k seeds…

Also, the seeded bud, can I used that for mct oil afterwards without massive loss of potency? That really is the determining factor (but I’m not losing sleep if I have to buy dispo weed for a few months, what’s new lol).

Would I be ok growing just Soma Lavendar for the rest of my life? Yeah, I think I might be doing it anyway :joy::rofl::joy::woman_facepalming:

You could always cover your plants (leaving one branch outside the bag) with pollen bags… cover, pollinate, let sit for 30 minutes, rinse the plants to kill any strays pollen, then uncover the plants and enjoy partially seeded buds

You can still use the seeded flower for mct oil after you de seed :flushed:.
You should be able to stick a piece of paper or something under the male, gently tap for collecting. You just want to collect for pollination or to store as well?

Oh that’s interesting! @herojuana.tom thank you!

If I can still use the seeded without major loss of potency, I’d rather just do that. Lol, super want seeds, super not interes5ed in a bunch of extra steps :joy::rofl: winning.

Edit - zero interest in storing pollen. Way too many steps

Getting the seeds out is the extra step! If you just do some side branches you should have plenty.
Should not be a significant difference in potency between the seeded and unseeded.

I hear you on storing pollen :joy:

Maybe I’ll just do that and label the branches then, not looking for thousands of seeds.

Lazy pollination will be collect the pollen, take to another room with no air and pollinate a branch or two wait for the half hour li,e Tom was saying and move to the next one.
