Classic root rot.
Change the solution, sterilize, and cool down the reservoir.
I recommend adding bleach or another sterilizing agent to your water as a preventative measure, especially if you’re having trouble keeping it nice and cool. Frozen bottles of water in the reservoir between now and time you get the chiller are a good option.
