hey yall so im hoping to dind someone willing to do an seedmans grean crack auto reversal and seed increase for the community and I. The grower must have successfull experience with autos and reversals. Please let me know if interested.
@blowdout2269 @raintoday @LoveDaAutos @going2fast @chronix please tag auto growers you might know cause you are all that cone to mind at the moment. oh @repins12 but dont want to put any undo pressure on you brother.
Good luck with your quest!!
Never done a reversal, not my thing
Seems like a delightful strain though! Hope you find someone.
Happy to breed something with it to make reg seeds if you’d like - I crossed this favorite pineapple Buy Pineapple Cannabis Seeds Autoflower | Homegrown Cannabis Co. with the Zamaldelica Express f4 and it seems to be the same type of effects profile and fruitiness. The cross actually smells like pineapple, and finished in 8 weeks. Happy high, no sleepiness, no couchlock, still functional brain. THC level seems at least the 20% they list for the green crack.
I’m also running the first auto generation of Ciskei x Lemon Pie X Zamaldelica Express f4. Parent generation of those was similar sativa effects, but without the “happy” mood component. Would be a fine cross to try.
I have Green Crack from 2 different sources that I was going to do a partial flip on both of them and let them have a Green Crack orgy. One from Fast Buds, I believe, and one from Costal Mary Seeds. If you weren’t set on staying breeder specific, I’d be willing to toss one out two of yours in with them and send you a share back. It would be a 3 way spilt as I’d need to send a share to the other donor. I’ve had 4 successful selfing runs and 1 successfull f2 ING. Let me know
I’m not breeder specific at all. So that sounds like a fine way to get some diverse phenos in the seeds. If you are game dm me and let’s get this rolling.
I have no experience with reversals unfortunately.
No worries friend I just tagged auto growers that I could think of for this.
That is exactly what the other donor and I were thinking. Off to the DMs!
Ok for all those reading this a grower has been picked for this project. Thanks everyone and hopefully there will be some green crack s1 to share with community!
Stoned pondering…
Would they qualify as “S1”? I’m planning on treating a brach from each of the cultivars sending pollen indiscriminately all over the tent. Would “R1”(Reversed pollination, generation 1)be a better descriptor? There would, inevitably, be S1s in the mix but for each cultivar the S/R ratio would be a (statistically) 33%/66% (reality of course does its own thing) mix heavier on the Reversed pollen making the seed. Hmm…
Heavens willing, I’ll have plenty of pollen and can send some your way. This is of course speculating on results a few months out,
Reversal on autos is exactly the same as photos, BUT its all about the timing. Ya gotta start spraying the sites before sex is revealed, and keep spraying untill you see male parts, then keep spraying basically untill you get pollen off the reverseed site. IF your using silver for reversal.
Id consider the seeds S1 when reversing the mother plant & using that reversed male pollen on the same mother plant.
Agreed ![]()
Everything else would be be considered an F1 cross.
But we’re looking at, at least, 3 plants. While all of them are Green Crack, they’re from 3 different breeders. I would agree that if there is only one plant, all the progeny would be “S1” but where there is greater potential for any one seed to be created through outside influence, still green Crack just not self pollinated, would the S1 descriptor be accurate? Or would this be more like “line breeding”?
I would aggree if your not using the male pollen to self the Orginal mother plant, then its not gonna be S1 (despite the others being the same strain)
IMO (& I could be wrong) but to me, S1 literally means selfed/Reversed plant that pollinated itself.
If your using green crack #1 mother plant thats Reversed and use that pollen on greencrack #2 plant, then it would presumably start at F1, then f2 next generation ect ect.
Excatlty, you said it better then me.
Good question. It does seem like a r1 seems more fitting.
