Need info on tremors

My dad has tremors . I feel horrible for him and I ve noticed it s getting worst . This is a mans man who won t ask anyone for help or even say if his afflictions getting worst .It s like hes quietly suffering with this awful Shit. So ,I know nothing about this disease and I m gonna start to research it . Last year I browsed quickly on strains that help with tremors and saw Amnesia was suppose to be good. I order some Seedsman Amnesia from seedsman and grew out a decent enough plant but he said it didn t really help . So Im trying to find out any advice or if theres anything someone could recommend as far as a strain to grow tht may help… I d love to talk with someone whos dealing with this disease. I try to talk to my dad and he s not really big on conversations especially something he s going thru . Im not sure were to post this thread on the forum so hopefully it gets to the right people.

My project is to do just that. I am hoping to treat tremors and muscle spasms. Here is a good starting point you can expand on.

Cannabinoids and Tremor Induced by Motor-related Disorders: Friend or Foe? - PMC.

Feel free to DM me and we can talk more

Perhaps try a 1:1 CBD:THC strain, many say they are very medicinal.
Very zen feeling.

Also, how does he ingest?

Smoking is the least effective when it comes to medicinal benefits.

I decarb dried crumbled bud for 2 hrs 10 mins at 100C / 212F then eat half a teaspoon.
You can add it to food, the fibers still being present makes it more slow release.

Yeah , he loves smoking when he can sneak away from my mom . lol I m sure he d try anything if it helped. I m gonna start reading up on it . I got so busy with other stuff kids ,growing my own issues I totally missed how bad it s been getting for him. He can t even right his name and it kills me . The harder he tries to focus on a task the worst it seems to gets…Just horrible shit . I do have a few cbd strains but that stuffs greek to me . I recently started getting into Autos and CBD stuff …

Alcohol can make tremors worse too, hell, I had them when I was in my 20’s, my alcoholic years, along with heart tremors, vanished when I quit and started eating decarb.

Also a good idea to give up caffeine.

Mushrooms can also be very beneficial for the nervous system, I’m thinking microdosing psilocybin, combined with lion’s mane.

I also recommend not watching tv.

1:1 or 2:1 CBD:THC. Make sure it’s American grown, 100% organic, and heavy metal tested unless you grow it yourself. If homegrown, add 1oz dried bud to 2-4cups MCT oil and put it in a crockpot for 12hrs, strain, then have him take a couple drops to start.

Here’s an amazing video of an old friend’s transformation when using honey oil for the first time for his Parkinson’s:

@Til_Valhalla have you come across anything that would help with tremors in your search?

Well there you have the main cause.

If he doesn’t stop drinking alcohol then the cannabis isn’t gonna do much…
It’s one or the other.

Alcohol is a toxin.

My niece has ALS, we grow 1:1 for her and it has made a world of difference for her tremors and ticks. In particular the Sweet Seeds Black Jack CBD feminized has been a game changer.

IDK, ,I ll try to sway him to give it up . Will not be easy . Damn thats disappointing

Get him a steady supply of some quality cannabis and he won’t have much trouble giving it up.

I ll have to find some of those, This was kind ve what I was after . I know certain strains help but it s easier to find info from people who ve found strains instead of me growing 10 different ones just to check. This reply was super helpful.

Made a cross with four random THC males that I’m likely to back cross later this year.

Send me a DM with your adress and I’ll send you some, you can make a whole bunch of F2’s if you want.

There are different types of tremors, I have Essential tremor, my hands shake when I move them, like the nerve signalis is strobascopic it’s now becoming a bit more like parkinsons where it affects me when resting as well.

Alcohol in small doses reduces it, stress or more physical exercise makes it worse, weed reduces it as well. Romulan is a good weed for neuro transmitter problems but you are really not treating the cause only the symptoms.

You have to regenerate the mitochondria in the brain and nervous system. Usually people with these problems are eating to much refined carbs and sugars which depletes B1 and B6 which the liver uses to process carbs. Increasing your B vits (Benfotiamine is the best B1 supplement) Magnesium, vit D3 and and vit K2 or MK7 all are needed for a healthy brain and nervous system. These help the mitochondria in the brain cells start to function properly. Intermittent and long fasting also helps considerably.

If you are in the states you might want to look into seeing if you can get this treatment.

I think his are called Familial tremors… He also said alcohol helps to but I never trusted that as truth because I figured anyone who likes drinking would say the same thing. I m trying to sort through everything now. to figure out the best way to help him .
