New first grow from long time grower😎

Hello all! New to OG. Was here a long long time ago but not as a member just a visitor. Loving all the info. So here’s some of what I got going on. First off this grow is CHEAP. I’m using my own organic soil mix. Jobes organic fertilizer (Wal-Mart) I purchased an Apollo tent 2x4x60. Currently only using about half that space though. I tied the floor tray up to make a false wall. 1000 watt colofocus led grow light.(Amazon). First time led user. No funds for quality genetics growing some brick press bag seed. Don’t like growing and not know what it’s genetics are. Lol but the love of growing consumes me. Well proof is in th pudding so here’s some pics from a crappy phone. Enjoy!!! Lol

Looking good, @dank-a-saurus… You’ve got some pretty dominant indica there… That could be good

BTW that “1000 Watt” LED Grow Light by ColoFocus has only about 95 watts.

Still looking nice for 95w actual draw. Subbed for your mystery run bro and welcome back to OG

Thanks @99PerCent @anon58740919 @LemonadeJoe. The led world of growing is still new to me. 6-7 years ago it was only m.h. and h.p.s. I was vegging with 400 m.h. and flowering with a 600 h.p.s Yeah these mystery beans are definitely indica dominant. Can’t wait to see what they do. Thanks for the kind words.

So after about 3-3 1/2 weeks veg I decided to go with a 24 hour cycle of dark and then flipped the cycle. Here’s a few pics of these mystery beans. BTW. The leaves are drooping somewhat for lack of water. I do this cause I like to give them a plain water or two in between switching fertilizer from veg to flower. Like to think I’m getting most of the old fertilizer out.

This last one is way behind the others. I got this from a bag of what is supposed to be juicy fruit.

I love a good mystery grow. Now I have to watch and find out :spy: Good-luck. My fingers are crossed for some sticky-icky.
…and you will have your green doinks up to four in no-time, friend

Quick update.

I pulled everything out and gave a good cleaning, just cause. This is after I separated them some so they have a little more space.

Flower day #6. Nothing new really. Needed watering and fertilizer. Sprayed them with some neem oil, saw a few fungus gnats. Snapped a few pics. These first three are all the same size and stature for the most part. About 15". The big one is about 19". With not as much branching and tighter node spacing.

This is the biggest one mentioned above.

And for documentation purposes I took clones of all four at the same time. The largest ones clone rooted in 9 days. I’m still waiting for roots on the other three. This is day 14.

So the law of averages got me this time. 2 male 2 female. But that’s ok. Now the pics…

First of the two male was.The tallest one. He got chopped at 22" so it was a 3" stretch in 4 days. Almost an inch a day. Nope. Not for me. The second was 19", that’s is an inch a day from the 15". Nope not for me. The last male had the same structure as both the females. If I was going to make some f2’s I’d use this male for stabilization purposes. But I’m not and what do I know hahaha.

Now time for the girlies!!!

These next three are going outdoors. The two smaller ones are unknown brick bag seed. The larger one was started about a week or so earlier than the other ones. Its bag seed as well from what I was told is juicy fruit. I know that it was very good but not as tasty as the name implied. None the less I’m happy to have a plant from it. I just know it’s a female. :crossed_fingers: Nevermind the messy pic that’s my watering tote to catch run-off.

Very nice!
Never be ashamed of growing bag seed, as 99percent mentioned once, somebody selected it at some point.
Odds are the same it will be fire, as anything else.
Just keep an eye out for nanners in case it wasn’t fertilized/bred conventionally.
My only suggestion would be to triple the light if you decide to flower indoors.

Thanks. I hope it is fire as well…of course. Hahaha I’m not discouraged from growing what I have. And if I could or am capable to in the near future to upgrade or add lighting I will. And I admit to letting them veg way too long. But hopefully with just the two girls in there it should raise the par level . And probably tonight I’m going to clone some of the lower branches, if it’s not too late for them to take root. But if they don’t, it’s ok cause I’m sure before it’s over with they wouldn’t be getting enough light anyways hahaha.

Very nice plants there bro and your close up shots are way better than mine btw

It was hard as h*££ to get those close ups. I literally had one arm braced up against the tent and the other awkwardly resting on my side for stability. And I had to take 100 to get those couple hahaha. But thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

Update flower day 21. Pics were taken last night. #2 is definitely more sweet/skunky smelling. #1 just has a general funk about her. #2 is also more resinous.

Just a few pics… Happy with the early resin production in #2. Couple of pistils turning orange on some lower nugs from both girls. Thinks that’s from me squeezing them a bit a couple days ago to give them a little smell test. Shouldn’t have but super hard to resist. After not growing inside or outside for about 8 years or so I couldn’t resist temptation.
