I’d still say longer. Are they still pushing out pistils?? If you must take them early for some reason I suggest you at least wait until a little amber shows. The trichomes will continue to change while drying. I know your eager to test the results by why spend 2 - 4 months growing them for to chop them now instead of allowing another week or 2 for them to be properly ready?

@Esrgood4u don’t worry m8 they won’t be getting chopped until they r ready I am in no rush the ak47 will be done b4 the royal jack by at least a week

Right guys give the ak a good check over this morning with jewelers loop looked at all bud sites and main cola I would say 90% of tricombs r cloudy/milky with quite a few amber especially on main cola and around the middle buds should I leave or chop her tomorrow? Also any tips for were to dry as I normally use the grow tent but the royal jack will probably go another week

Depends on how you like your stone. More amber gives more body stone. Mainly cloudy is more for day time. You do realise you can split the harvest?? Take the main cola and let the remainder go a week or so extra

I’d say there’s truth to this and I’v noticed this with my clones this year after several hours of lights out. Everyone knows that if your in a constant state of an aroma how sensory adaptation kind of takes over and you really can’t smell something after awhile, but this year with my clones I’v gotten huge smells at times throughout the night that make ya say " holy shit! Those girls are given off some stink"! Must be the hookers of the night!

If I’m ever stuck I’ve wet trimmed the bud and stuck them in a brown paper bag/box in a dark room to dry out. Not ideal but works ok

Can I flush a pot and chop down on the same day the ak is 11 week today more than 50% of the pistols have turned a dark amber colour and the most tricombs r cloudy/milky with some amber thinking of chopping her today the RJ will be another week or so

If the trichomes are showing it’s done to your standards take her down. I don’t see how beneficial it would be to flush the pot then cut it. If you’ve been flushing for the last 7-14 days you should already be fine.

Started my flush only 4 days ago a bit late I no I might give a big flush today and chop tomorrow

It’s not late for a flush. It really depends on how you like the effects. If you like your weed to couch lock you then the more amber the better
Also some people think it just a myth flushing before harvest. I flush to move things along a bit quicker but if your willing to cure for longer then in my opinion a flush isn’t needed

I will cure for 3 to 4 weeks then take a few gram out a leave the rest in the jars till I need to dip bk in to it that way it’s getting a decent cure time and I can sample a bit aswell

Curing gets rid of the chlorophyll. The “myth” is flushing removes any built up nutrients that promotes chlorophyll from inside the plant. Most of the chlorophyll is stored in the leaves. If you take your time while trimming and remove as much of the leaf matter as you can it will result in the smoke being much smoother
I removed some of the larger fan leafs and some of the smaller ones few days ago to make trimming a bit easier wen I chop them gonna do a big flush again today on both plants then chop the ak tomorrow

Can I use water that hasn’t sat for 24 hours to flush my pots obviously ph it I let my water storage get to low so had to top it up from the tap

I use water directly from the tap. All I do is ph it to 5.8 the plants love it.

Nice and frosty the leaves dying off like that is a good indicator that she’s almost ready.
