Hey man quick question about checking trichs. Do you check leaves, calyxes and or both? Also when checking, do you look at multiple spots per bud or one and done? I can’t seem to find a definitive answer. Thanks in advance.

I just check the buds, a few top, middle and lower.
The top will ripen the quickest

Okay, I thought she was almost done but she started spitting out pistils all over, so I checked her trichs and they were mostly cloudy, some amber, and some still clear. I’d say 70% cloudy , 20% clear, and 10% amber. I’ll give her another week and check back. Thanks

I find most hybrids will keep spitting out new pistols,but jus go by the trich’s. If you like couchlocky, more amber, if you like a bit more heady, more cloudy

Thanks man, this one came out quite well considering she was grown under cfls. The buds have a very distinctive sour citrus/fuel smell now. They feel like rocks if squeezed, so hoping it’ll be some decent smoke! Appreciate your knowledge!

So I cut and hung whole plant upside down for 3 days to remove 50% of moisture from buds. I just now trimmed them up and placed on rack for 2 to 3 more days. 50% RH and temps are at 68 to 70. I just received Boveda 62% packs. I plan on a 3 to 4 week cure.
I did try some scissor hash, which came out super euphoric, and had a nice cerebral high!
On to my next lady who is my Sat dom and only has a few weeks left! Will update with harvest.

Hey @HaRdRoC, I’ve read it’s best not to use boveda packs the first week of curing. As your burping so much, your thoughts?
Never used them, but was going to for my next crop.
It makes sense, as they are for long time storage. You still have to dry correctly and burp till dry then put them in.
Update on younger female, finally got the Nitrogen def worked out and shes greening back out. Day 35.

What did you do to fix it?
Well fixed is a loose term, more like I finally got it on a better feeding schedule with my new nutes and the leaves are started to regain green!
