Peace All. Congrats my NJ homies. Sucks that I moved out of Jersey 4yrs ago moving to Pa cuz I was under the impression from all sources I read that Pa would do it before NJ. NJ is NOTORIOUSLY racist and I just couldn’t see it. Damn, they waited until I left to vote…lol  :sweat:

I’m here in NJ and while this is a move in the right direction, the ballot measure did NOT mention anything about home grow. While I remain hopeful that there will be a provision for boutique growers under x number of plants, I fear that the commission coming up with the regulations will hand off the entire thing off to large commercial growing operations.
As far as NJ grow shops, Shore Grow in Ocean is totally legit! Great folks with great advise!

Thanks,
It will be nice to be able to say cannabis in a shop rather than tomatoes. I was in DC a few years ago and had some great conversations with other shoppers at Good Hope Hydro down there. Back in the 90s in Seattle it was park your car 2 blocks away from the shop, pay cash, and wear a hat cause we were all afraid of the narcos writing down license plates. Thing have sure changed.

I need to stop by that grow shop never been
Knowing no if they let us grow at home it will be taxed and checked

Well welcome to the Garden State where we tax everything and try to make it absolutely ridiculous for anybody to grow medical the new laws are going to say that if you are caught growing and have 10 plants or more you are facing 10 years in jail and $150,000 fine below 10 plants it seems to be more lenient but that is absolutely ridiculous come on everybody let’s finally change this and take change this ridiculous archaic money making machine and allow us to home grow

New Jersey will be the only recreational state that will not have a provision for home grow

We need to get hold of out lawmakers and force a change to this Rec law
I am all for rec but we need to consider the med patient that can’t afford to pay the steep price and taxes
They can’t lock up every one of us but they will try

Free the weed
Fuck cancer
Peace

The Garden State has mandatory minimums in place for criminals that grow plants at home.
Really and truly pathetic.

“a first-degree crime punishable by 10 to 20 years in prison, with mandatory minimums that require those convicted to serve at least one-third of the sentence.”

This is absolutely ridiculous it should be treated like a tomato
It’s a plant
It’s medicine
It’s life

I honestly think we should go down to the courthouse I wouldn’t even know how to start the ball rolling on this.

I think if we put a law in effect that each dispensary will have their tests done on their products. There will be a third party test mandatory done on there will be no ties with any medical dispensary / recreational to allow a product on the shelves that contains pesticides or plant growth regulators or heavy metals  If we got this written up a nice solid file format I think we might have a chance

Also if they plan on selling the product they will be summoned to huge fines and possibly loss of license
