More relaxed than the Jet Fuel I’ve had in the past which I was guessing but she’s definitely still in there. Mellow with a decent little calming euphoria to it so far and heading into a bit of sedation now. Definitely has an apricot smell to her, slight apricot flavor.
“I don’t see it happening any time soon,” Scutari said. He said he is not against it himself; however, “we gotta let this industry get off the ground.”
I understand a little politician speak so allow me to translate- “We’re greedy fucks and want to make absolutely sure we get ours first, fuck you.”
It was difficult to read because it was want me to get it a subscription. @Slick1 what’s going on up there with you guys. I figured y’all had a limit by now. 5 to 10 plants. When I was in Colorado I could grow 40. That was some years ago I’m not sure what it could be for medical now. I never did that for medical. That state you have to give up your firearm. That won’t happen. I don’t have it like that but what I’m trying to tell you is I’m not giving it up I’m not gonna give that ride up whatsoever. In Colorado if you have medical I believe you can’t have a gun at all. I’m just talking about hunting. I’m no gangster. That’s like being with two women at one time. You don’t know which way to go. Lol
I was under the I’m ny, jj, and pa had all agreed to no home grows. With ny letting it happen I would hope it passes for you as well. Again not positive about this, but I thought they had an agreement
Cuomo is a total corporate guy. He really doesn’t want any little guys benefiting from legalization. Along the same lines as greedy bastards getting there’s first posted by @Slick1
We’re legal to possess weed and smoke weed but no recreational shops are open yet so we’re not legal to purchase it. Also we’re the only state to “legalize” with zero homegrow even for medical. The two bills for homegrow being reintroduced is good news in the sense that they’re not backing down but it still probably won’t happen until well after shops open and the state makes their nut.
This is correct. Years ago they all met ahead of any state legalizing and agreed to lock it down with no homegrow. NY didn’t follow through on it and has homegrow written in so now it thankfully makes that agreement worthless.
Crap. I know PA doesn’t have home grow yet, and I heard about the meeting the state governors had agreeing to legalize but, I had know idea they all agreed to no homegrow. Fucking ridiculous.
It’s really twisted when you pay attention. Hopefully nj and pa allow homegrown since my did.
Same here basically. Possession is legal, but no recreational shops. Technically we can’t grow until the shops open. According to the state that’s about a year off.
Last time I checked the state site I couldn’t find any license info.
I do think making absolute sure that patients don’t face shortages due to rec sales is important but the answer to that is to let some rec spots open before allowing current ATCs to sell to the public. Arguably unfair but it would get the ball rolling.
"The tremendous lobbying clout of NJ’s cannabis industry means that home cultivation will probably languish for the time being.
But there’s a workaround that could get us halfway there, if not for recreational users, at the very least for NJ’s 130,000 (or so) medical cannabis patients.
NJ’s Acting Attorney General Matthew Platkin could ostensibly decriminalize home cultivation with a memorandum of guidance to New Jersey’s 21 county prosecutors to not prosecute those who runs afoul of NJ’s absurdly punitive anti-home grow laws.
It’s not the whole loaf or or even half a loaf.
But it’s a heckuva lot better than locking people up for weed."
I’m not sure they know what ostensibly means. It means for the sake of appearances, or for show; for example, a correct usage would be to say that weed is ostensibly legal in NJ.
As for what could be done with memos of guidance… considering that the country hasn’t legally been at war for something like three decades and has still started multiple “initiatives” in multiple “theatres of action,” the politicians have very obviously demonstrated that they can twist the laws into whatever knots they want to, unless the revolution comes and they end up the first with their backs against the wall. Which politician says they want to twist which laws which direction is kinda pointless to discuss, since they’re all lying to us anyway - when they get done arguing about whose friends get more of the supposedly infinite money NJ is ready to pour into smoking weed, they’ll be done. Then they’ll take another 10 years to realize that the infinite money isn’t there, before prohibition starts up again. Same as it ever was…
