Iām seeing recreational sales starting next week. April 21st all adults will be able to purchase recreationally in certain dispensaryās.
Letās see if they expunge my possession charge from 90. Bastardsā¦

I didnāt pay attention to the expungements as far as if they were automatic as suggested or not, but I can tell you NJ has an online expungement you can do yourself now. You apply and fill out the info and then eventually a prosecutor reviews it. If you fit the criteria he takes it in front of a judge without you even needing to be present and the judge will make it official. The bigger issue is all the background check sites companies use who are not required to remove things. You would have to submit the expungement to them in and some cases they still charge you something to pull the info. Yay digital age.
I actually applied for a āclean slateā expungement a few weeks ago and am waiting for the prosecutor to review it. Itās the last lingering root from my wilder days to get sorted and Iām excited to chop it!

Thank you for that @Slick1 Iāll look into it. If itās a simple process for me I might go through with it. At this point in my life it really doesnt mean anythingā¦ other than personal.

Lived in Nj for 38 year til January of this year moved due to a job offer and honestly i dont Miss it congrats on finally being able to purchase rec weed but Nj is still super behind on all the laws good luck hope they allow home grow but doubt it

Oh no youāre allowed to be stoned - as long as the state got their cut. Thatās what itās about. Possession of shrooms is decriminalized already but they state doesnāt profit off them so this ok. Scumtari has flat out said he wants to ālet the industry establish itself before discussing homegrowā which is politician speak for āIām a dirty little bitch boy and the only reason we legalized was to tax it despite the BS we fed you about social equity and the last thing weāre going to do is let you bypass paying us to smokeā.
