Yea I was under the impression we were getting full legalization in NJ, not this money grab for the big players/MSOs only looking for profits while keeping the little guys locked out without a chance.
And then no home grow… yet the bud from the dispensaries is overpriced, for a very limited selection.
Or at least that’s how it Is near me.

Yea, $125 plus tax for a 1gram cartridge from the apothecary is ridiculous. Personally I like smoking flower more, that’s how I started smoking… but the carts are nice for being on the go and there’s pretty much no smell.
@Papalag i fully agree! NJs program needs changes for it to really be embraced. I know I was all for legalization and I even voted that year because I really wanted it to pass… and it did but sales didn’t open up for a long time and technically [how I interpret it] if the stuff doesn’t come from a dispensary it’s not legal cannabis. It would be classified as marijuana.

We approached “legalization” as only this corrupt ass state could manage. It’s actually quite the feat of baffling and scumbaggery even for politicians.
I won’t give them my money. Scumbag company with a piece of shit CEO. I went one time because f the first time discount they give and nothing they had was impressive enough to go back, let alone begrudgingly support their BS company for.
They were posting fake reviews before they even opened including one from the CEO under his own name pretending to be a customer. They then opened with the highest prices in the state and made it clear they were here to be ready when rec passed and had no problem fleecing patients in the meantime. Then the CEO (and possibly other employees) were making fake reddit accounts and attacking anyone who called out their bullshit, and in very immature childish ways. A reddit user also brought to everyone’s attention some posts from the CEO using racial slurs casually. Fuck that company.

Saw that. Great to see Curaleaf lose anything but sucks for the ground level employees just trying to work in an industry they’re passionate about. The again working for Curaleaf as a passionate grower would probably be like a master chef working at McDonalds anyway.

If anything, I’m surprised they’re the only ones… yet. I guess banking sector chaos isn’t that bad for cannabis businesses, since they can’t get banking services anyway. Recessions might be, though. Maybe not; alcohol is nearly recession-proof, though use is distributed differently in a recession. Hard liquor use goes up, beer goes down. No idea what the equivalent would be here, if there is one.

How are the prices still so high in nj you can get 55 dollar 1 gram carts in Manhattan!
I see 1/8 for 25-57 all over the sites. They have only been open for a couple months

I saw the entry fees, staggered openings. I don’t have to be first through the door… so I can enter later and cheaper.

Couldn’t have happened to a better soulless, money-hungry bunch of corporate sociopaths. 
People whispered to each other afterward, asking what it meant for Curaleaf’s products, consumers in South Jersey, and the industry as a whole. One person clapped.
I couldn’t make it, otherwise it would’ve been two. It means no more NJ citizens directly subsidizing a Russian oligarch, for one. Might even affect the stream of bribe money that’s probably been flowing between Cura and Murphy.
