Hello!

That looks a good price for the wattage. What size area are your wanting to cover? There’s no mention of what diodes are used. From personal experience I’ve bought three lights in the last year because I was trying to cut corners and save money when I should just have bought the best light I could in the first place.
Im running 480 watts in a 4x4 tent that is just about perfect. Maybe even a bit too much. I usually run that tent at about 80-85% power on the lights. But thats just me.
Yeah man I’ve got a couple 4x2s and usually in the 350 or so watt range running 75-85% power. Rarely go 100% unless need little extra heat
I’m running a 450 watt in a 4 x 4 at 75 % in veg and 100 in flower. Plants seem to like it
I also have a 2x4 tent that i run a 300 watt mars hydro kit. Perfect for that. It does get warm tho. But yeah… You may be wasting watts at 700. Depending on the size of your grow. It IS good to have more than you need tho.
No specs, tests, diodes, and not a single review equals stay away for me. Highly doubtful it’s an actual 720 watts with only 6 bars, maybe but not likely. I run 230- 240 watts in a 2x4 and has more than enough power, I’ve never had to go further, it’s a 300-watt setup, but never been close to that (tested 250 and it’s too much…light burn). Back in the day with old Mars lights, you would need two lights for about 320-340 watts, to get just over half an elbow. Two cheap vipars(200 watts) would destroy those immediately, but I’ve grown some wonderful buds under those old blurps.
Whichever led light you get, make sure to increase your calcium and magnesium.
This site was a big help in understanding lights.
Good read all around.
I would not trust a light without better documentation…what @Smokey77 said.
Hope its cool if I post this in this thread. This fits my needs and has samsung diodes but seems crazy cheap. Too good to be true? Anyone have experience with this?
No experience. Specs look great.
Outlook not so good.
$100? Immediately skeptical.
I used to test Amazon lights a couple of years ago and always look at those reviews man…prob cheap components but good enough if want to save some money. Usually you can test them out and send it back if it’s not good enough that’s the one positive but then have to keep looking. I’ve got a collection of so-called cheap Chinese Amazon LEDs and still producing what I like to think quality herb so take that as you will
Kinda get what you pay for, man. I would rather pay a tad extra up front than to throw away money on crap that wont last till the water gets hot. Just my opinion. Lighting and air movement are your top priority. Dont skimp, my friend. You will thank me later.
I got this literally 5 min ago. It’s an early birthday present from my wife, I’ve always wanted an HLG Black Bird. Can’t go wrong with HLG.
I have less light than required for my 5x5, I have only 400w in there. 1x King LED 200w and 2x
Philizon 100w’s. Coverage is lacking but gets the job done. I’m looking into upgrading next year some time.
I was looking at Migro lights, I’m sure I’ll change my mind a couple more times when the time comes
The Best LED Grow Lights for indoor growers – MIGROLIGHT
For my 3x3 tent, I only use one K.LED 200w in there. I have run full cycles under that 200w in the 3x3. Its plenty of light for that space.
In the 2x2 I only use 100w on 10% setting for a slower veg and cloning.
Many options out there but I’d say it’s best to go with a brand that others have used with tried-and-true reviews.
That’s awesome! My wife would never buy me a light because she knows I’d say something like “but I wanted the x24 version”
She would buy it for me though with perfect information.
I have an Aray 4 and quite like it .
Try HLG remanufactured light, don’t be scared to get second hand lights from them. All lights are top notch and just like new. I have a few Blackbird
‍:black_large_square: lights and they are GR8 no problems at all. ![]()

Can’t go wrong with HLG, still rockin’ QB 132 3500k’s (4 boards) and QB 96’s. I actually like the 132 boards the best, you can get super close to the plants, low heat, quality product, I went almost 4 years on the first set of 132’s, until I realized yields were down and took a picture and I had multiple leds out on all 4 boards. Broken boards were still producing a fine product tho’, just less of it.
On the cheap end of the spectrum, I picked up a Vipar P1000 maybe a year ago or more (60 bucks), and I initially bought it for a Veg light, but I’ve flowered the 2x2x4 3 times now (3rd cycle in progress) and I hit 1.3g per watt scrogged 38 days in a 5-gal SIP. Not bad for a plant just over a month-old total. She was trained for 14-15 days in bloom and left alone for final stretch. In my experience, 100 watts is on the low side for a 2x2 area no doubt about it, but a reminder that environment, training, and experience plays a much bigger role. And who doesn’t love a budget setup that can produce fine herb. Stay Frosty and Green to One Another.
I have a Vipar P2000 the newer 250w version, 2x4 light. I liked it, although it ran *seriously hot - like, worryingly hot, like how is this not catching fire and burning my house down type hot. The driver was too hot to put my hand on for more than a second or two and that was with a fan blowing full speed constantly directly on the driver. I’m using an AC Infinity Evo3 now and sleep better, the plants seem happier too. The spectrum is a lot redder, almost like a HPS light. It will be interesting to see on the next run if I get the same pale plant/Calmag deficient issues with this light. It still seems that we peaked with flouro/MH for veg and HPS for flowering.
