I’m new here and hope it’s not to forward of me to be creating my own topic so soon. I just wanted to get some of my pics I’ve taken in past Grows out there and who knows? Some of you just might like them. I also wanted to share the results of
The Mars Hydro II 900 Watt Full Spectrum LED. It’s by far the BEST Grow Light I’ve ever purchased and or used EVER!
Also the potency of the Marijuana I’ve Grown with this LED LIGHT Is as powerful as it gets and I felt I should share this with as many other Growers as possible. After all, it’s the reason I purchased the LED Grow Light myself. Here are some pics.

I really enjoy making Budder from usually Every Grow however with my last (purple ryder # 2) Grow I only Grew 3 plants.
I know I’ll be kicking myself in the ass for that mistake a can assure All my Fellow & Lady Growers that will NEVER again happen to be certain. Now, I hope to make a batch from my next Grow. <img

Now with these plants I rescued them from a friends Greenhouse & 2 weeks later his mold issue took the other 25. I know right? Total Bummer Big Time However the Budder I Made & actually the Bud it’s self was tremendous to be honest.

Pretty impressive for a MarsHydro blurple board. You should look into COBs. I’ll bet you would do even better, using a quarter to half the wattage. This is using only 241w of light, with less than 2 weeks in flower.

There are only a few COB users over here at the moment and almost no DIY.
The info will come eventually when they catch on, but no free promo for other forum from me
(not without payment in small unmarked bills or large pungent buds).

WOW! okay you have my attention here. However if those Plants are doing so well under that low wattage I can Guarantee they’d be 2 times the size under the 900 watt light. I’ve been watching Grows of all types & Believe You Me,
Higher Wattage Makes For Higher Yields. Now, if you’ve some other Theory I’m Down with hearing you out as I’d LOVE to have that Lovely Lady there Inside my tent to be sure Brother Grower or as many of her as I could fit that is. Honestly anyone who Grows These Here Beauties has my FULL Attention!

actually youre wrong there. higher wattage does not mean higher yield. when you have say 100 watts of light a certain percent of that turns into photons and the other percent into heat. depending on your light (cfl, led, hid) and how you are running it (mag or digi ballast, higher or lower Ma) depends on how efficient your light setup will be. wattage is just how much you have to pay the power company. imagine growing with 10 100 watt incandescence light bulbs. 1000watts but its mostly turning into heat instead of photons:)

If it were 900w of COB, it would probably cause photoinhibition and maybe even cellular destruction. 900w of panel LED would be nowhere near as effective. One 89w COB outperformed 2 ViparSpectra V450 panels I used to own.

See, wattage is a unit of consumption. What you want is PPFD, or Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density. See, HID is an incandescent technology, and uses heat to create light, which we know is highly inefficient. COBs are solid state and use electroluminescence, which does not use heat to produce light. You want to aim for 900-1200 PPFD per square meter, or at least covering each plant you have. Over 1200 will slow growth while 1500 will cause total photoinhibition. If you can produce more PPFD using less wattage, that is how you grow a good yield using the most power and least amount of money, all other factors such as genetics permitting. COBs are best for this.

All the Growers I’ve grown up around and chatted with Over the past 2 decades Are Lying about These LED Full Spectrum Grow Lights? & If so, why isn’t EVERYONE Using this Theory you speak of? How is it I’ve NEVER Heard of this EVER BEFORE Today? Now, if what you claim is actually Correct Then I’ll swap out my whole Theory of Lighting for Growing Medical Marijuana to be sure.
What Lights Out there do what you say is Best for My Situation in my 4X4 & I may set up my 3X3 too in this case.

I’m not trying to be a pain but could you PLEASE use the whole title or meaning as I’m not able to understand all the Initials especially ones I’ve Never seen before? Please & Thank You. It’ll save us both much time too. I get the whole COB thing as I knew it referred to Grow Lights. Oh & Those Plants of yours there have me really kicking myself in the arse BIG TIME!

COB: Chip On Board; invented to replace HPS in highbay/lowbay industrial settings. Different/better than all LED panels.

PPFD: Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density; photons that are put out (measures in micromols per square meter, usually) that cover the light footprint. Measures light intensity as it pertains to plant productivity. Aim for 900-1200. 830 is about 85% productivity and is still a great target.

PAR: Photosynthetically Active Radiation; what PPFD is a measurement of. The plant only uses photons in the PAR range, all other light is a waste.

Thank you very much. Not a lot of people outside of RIU do I see using them. There are a small number , probably less than 80-100 people. Maybe even less than 60 or 50. So don’t beat yourself up too much. I bought two 450w panels, myself, before learning of COBs.

DIY is cheapest, but if it can’t be done, go with Timber Grow Lights, Northern Grow Lights, TastyLED, Growmau5/Cutter Configs, Johnson Grow Lights, etc. I use Tasty.

Check the Vero light specs. I have two older Tasty T1-2100s and a Tasty T1-V196. The latter is better, and I think he stopped selling the 2100s.

Anyhooow, It’s very sound advice my friend and believe me when I say I’ve done a smashing job at persecuting myself over said info & Realizations. In Fact he has a table of which to Identify any and all strains Origin and which strains are crossed period. I’m not to up on the lingo etc.
However I know an Excellent Book when I read one & All 3 of Jason Kings Cannabibles are Fantastic. Like I was saying " while re reading The Cannabible I saw overgrow.com for the 2nd time ever. However I didn’t think I’ll have to check that out and get side tracked like last time! NO! I went right to my laptop and signed up as a newbie and I see today just how AMAZING not only the Admin is but All the other Growers and Users of Medical Marijuana/Cannabis As well especially the ones I’ve Interacted with so far at least. Careful what you read in the Cannabible. Some strain profiles were straight up bullshit. Like, they separated Chemdog into two strains and made up some story about it being grown better using synthetic nutes. Chemdog himself, JJ-NYC, and the other dude (Pete?) all told their story later which proves some of the shit in there is either embellished or totally made up. Get most of your information from forums and experience. No disrespect meant, just trying to help you.

Yes U R Indeed correct therein Brother I know. However There Is Quite a bit that is Truth as well. Not that I’m an expert but Alot of these strains are Factual & Origins Therein. Yes it’s a hit and miss sometimes. Not anymore Now that I’ve got you & lotus 710 to filter them out along with the many,many Other Growers here. How much better does it get By the Green Hearted Gods? lol. All I can say For Certain is that I’ve got The Seed Gig Covered. I almost forgot to share the really great news with everyone.
