Fungus nat larva look like large nematodes and love to eat seedling just as the shell cracks open, I’ve seen several absolutely full of the bastards ,I aways make sure to start in clean sterile soil and sand will prevent them from getting in if there already in the rest of your garden. You have to cover the holes on the bottoms of the pot also or they will just get in threw there, the fungus nats are persistent lil bastards and they damage roots and cause all sorts of problems
