New project creating s1 and f1 of these strains.

So I started most of these on April 16th and the rest on April 20th. So within a month I will have clones of each and they will go directly in to a 4x4 for budding. That way I can test to see how they finish and what they smell taste and structure, potency and so on. While that’s going I will be taking clones of everything again this time for 2 2x4 and 2 2x2 where I will be conducting the selfing and cross breeding of strains that seem they will pair together. The only strain so far that looks strange and will wait to see if it straightens it self out is the Tropicana cherries then again I have never grown it before so could be normal for that plant pic below. I have grown the grape og the uk blue cheese and the orginal sour diesel and Ken’s gdp along with the gg#. The rest I have never grown before. So we will see how they do. Soon I’ll be taking notes on every on of them. Things like structure, stem rubs, vigor, leaf shape and size, ability to clone, so on along with the journal I will be keeping I will be posting write ups on this thread as well for each one. So stay tuned and follow along with this journey.

Ok so a little bit ago I went back and looked and the lemon tree and the gg# definitely are pretty vigorous growers considering a few others were put in the soil on 16th of April and didn’t even put the seeds for lemon tree and gg4 in to towels till the 20th of April. So vigor and growth wise they are probably the fastest atm.

Quite a project, actually very similar to what I have in mind ; s1 and f2/3 in the same run.
I’ll just take a seat and follow along.
Good luck :v:

For sure man always glad to share this is my first time selfing anything so it will be raw. I have to get another bottle of sts my last one the kit got put outside when I had to scrap a grow due to unfortunate events and froze and one bottle broke open. But should be picking up the 4x4 for budding soon. Glad to have you stop by and follow this journey.

So I found out it was the cold and humidity that was causing them to lock out nutrients but hey now I got them warmer and fed them a good compost tea and they are heading back to healthy again. Also a good buddy of mine hooked me up with 12 Kyle kushman’s strawberry cough clones. So looks like we are back on track. The ones in the bottom left are the ones I started for my dad we have 1 blue dream Santa Cruz cut x magenta hashplant, 2 Arcata trainwrecks, 1 pine apple skunk, and a sour diesel x Girl Scout cookies. He is going to put them outdoors. Also transplanted all the strawberry cough clones and looks like I will be cloning the others soon

Update on the girls for breeding. So we have zkittles, gg#4, lemon tree, uk blue Cheese, Cali connections grape og, emerald triangle blackberry og, Cali connections orginal sour diesel, Tropicana cherries, Ken’s granddaddy purple, sense last update I got the first set of clones from them. Also got 11 Kyle kushmans strawberry cough clones from a buddy. The 9 i started just got transplanted this morning. Gotta love when they have super nice roots and they’re stalked shed like snake skins. After lights come back on tonight taking another set of clones. The lemon tree is the one that is going the craziest so far. The terps on all of them on the stem rubs is incredible so Ik these are going to be a crazy set to work with. I got say I got luck with these they bounced back from the cold and humidity. But damn they are all on point when it comes to stem rubs like each one is so potent as it is now can’t wait for the first bud test run and then to start selfing and breeding with them. The tropican cherries is still a bit weird idk going to decide after I get clones of it and bud run if it getting culled or not. I have to set up more tents later or tomorrow to get them all situated and spread out more. But yeah I can tell I am going to be holding on to these ones for a while and working them the best I can.

Update on the breeding projects. So working on getting multiple of all the strains cloned and rooted so I can get them in budding and get an idea on how each one is going to preform and all the stuff like structure, bud structure, frost production, yeilds, terpenes, taste, leaf to bud ratio and so on. So far I am happy with each of the strains I have going besides the Tropicana cherries it’s a weird plant that I think is just off. But the rest their structure is uniform and their stem Rubs are on point within the next day or two I will be doing a write up on each of them as I see them and my description on them. The Kyle kushmans strawberry cough clones I got are finally turning dark green and taking off.

Fast forward past the boring part and I am here for the first set in budding for testing to see how they turn out and just got the first breeding tent up yesterday now waiting on the clones to get to the size for breeding.

Tent in top right is the new one. I am going to start by doing some fems. Going to pick my donor and make 4 to 6 of them reversals then put them to themselves and the other 8 strains to make s2s and s1 crosses

I see you’re very aggressive, you have many beautiful clones. In these photos I see the plants suffering a bit, though.

Yeah I have had a bit of an issue with humidity in here again and seems to be taking its role on them. Also the big one in the back left is the lemon tree and for some reasons that strain won’t really root clone I got 1 out of about 40 of them so far. And I just took another 15 so. Definitely choped it a bit hard. I have to also feed them a tea once it’s done brewing to get the micro life in all the clones going. I just got done putting a lot of the ones with roots dangling out the bottoms in to bigger pots. I’ll post a picture of that in a bit. Thank you man for the input i appreciate it honestly. Even in 18 years of doing this i still haven’t perfected it. But I try my best lol

You’ll definitely make some wonderful crosses. You have so much great equipment and are very organized. Let me know when they’re ready. I wish you happy growing! :green_heart:

So got these girls in to their planters for the breeding chamber going to let them veg a bit longer and make sure I have a mother of each strain. Then going to pick some sts spray up. Still working on the strain I am going to make the donor. It a toss up between these 3, uk blue cheese, zkittlez, and orginal sour diesel.

I have to get these girls in to 1 gals tomorrow and then pick out 1 of each of the 8 strains to make the best mothers also between this tent and the breeding one.

Ok so these are the strains I am working with. I am going to use the one i see best fit as donor to its self and all of these that way I have some s2s and s1 crosses to start with then going to refine from there and work more individualized. So here they are
Ken’s GDP
Uk blue cheese
Orginal sour diesel
Grape og
Zkittlez
Black berry og cbd supposed to be a 3/1 cbd/thc
Kyle kushmans strawberry cough
GG #4
Lemon tree

How is this pheno?

Is this the one from hazeman bean or a cut?

I like the ideas you have! You could take things to s2-s3 depending on the cultivar and get it super homozygous(inbred) then cross it to another super inbred s2-s3 and you’ll end up with a true F1 hybrid!

Keep up the good work brother!
