New to this... black spots on leaves up the steam

Hello

I’m new to this and I have a few plants with black up the leaves.

Week 2 of veg
Living soil
HLG 600 light

78 degrees a 45-50% humidity

Any insight would be appreciated !

That looks like it could be the start of mold forming.

Do you have a loupe you can use to see the surface of the leaf? Is it on the surface or part of the leaf?

Also, yeah that looks like mold. Do you let the leaves get wet when watering?

Hi ,

it’s part of the leaf and not on the surface .

They were recently transplanted and were slightly over watered.

No the leaves do not get wet during watering.

Thx

Agree with the possible mold, I also see some white sap spots, check the back of the leaf to see if there are thrips, diseases attire pests: As it comes through the veins I wonder if it could be a root problem, can you post a pic of the whole plant? :sunglasses:

As George says check the white patches on the leaves with a magnifyer of some sort could also be Powdery Mildew starting or Thrips.

The leaf stem is also looking black, what is the strain of this plant

I would agree with George and just keep an eye on it.
