No Sleep Til Brooklyn (79 Oaxacan x Durban IBL, Big Sur Holy Weed, Nepalese Jam, Super Laos Haze, Devil's Tit)

Well after a wild year that saw me get married, move back to NYC and change jobs, I’ve finally got some babies growing. I’m starting from scratch and in a small NYC apartment, but with a backyard. That means I’m running outdoor for the first time in more than 20 years, but the last times were always in Southern California. As such and sticking to legal limits, I’ve got 4 going outside this season and 2 going in a closet.

I wanted stuff that I know I’ll love, but will finish in time and won’t be too dense due to the humidity and crazy summer/fall here. I decided on Nepalese Jam from Ace but via Colorado Sativas of which I’ve got two girls. I also popped 3 Costa Chica from DeadPanHead, of which I got a boy and a beautiful girl. Finally I popped 5 Big Sur Holy Weed from Lemonhoko, but via Colorado Sativas. I had 4 girls and one boy, but the male was runty and so I kept the two narrow leafed females and chucked the fatter leafed two.
Group shot about two weeks after sprouting (the BSHW were a week or so behind):

Babes vegging up a bit more in the closet before I moved them outside:

Costa Chica male today in his smaller container, the two NepJam and the female Costa Chica. You can see how crazy fat the leaves are on the NepJam. At least it’ll finish in time this season lol.

Thanks man and that’s awesome, what kind of phenos are you seeing and when was the stock from?

They’re still a bit young to make distinctions but they are healthy and you can see the hybridization. They were donated by a generous member here so I couldn’t tell you the numbers exactly but I’m pumped for them. I’m hoping for one male so I can spread it around.

10/10 I’m in it for the long haul on this grow thread!

What’s your medium and nutrient lineup for the outdoor plants? And for your indoor grow what light are you going to use?

Nice, I did a lot of work with it years ago and it was some of my all time favorite herb. A very spiritual, elevating, euphoric herb in the right phenos and I’ve never found anything close to it, so fingers crossed there’s still some magic in these.

The leaf is a bit messed up from topping.

Thanks. I’m biting my fingernails waiting for them to show. I’ve got two so I want a male and a female and if I get a male I’ll be making mucho hybrids.

Thanks man, me too. I’ve heard most of the phenos lean towards the Afghan, but I had these two that have much thinner leaves, so I’m hopeful they have interesting effects. A lot of folks say it’s special herb, so I’m really curious. The Holy Congo I grew was more like a hybrid but with some extra weirdness from the Congolese Black.

This is why it’s on my list and appreciate getting to watch your show  :v:

Sounds like a fun run! Outdoors and in. I wish I could grow mine outside, I’m tired of listening to four fans in my bedroom. I’m curious to see how the bshw turns out. I’ve been looking for seeds. It’s supposedly one of the parents of shapeshifters freakshow, along with pink grapefruit. If aomeone has some big sur holy weed seed I’d be honored.

Another Brooklyn grower here. Looking forward to seeing what you can grow in your backyard.

Hey shout out Brooklyn! Thanks man, have you run any outdoor here before? I’ve been hitting up a lot of the events here too just to grab herb from Lexter’s and Piffcoast while I’m waiting for my own smoke. I stay away from the Bodega trash, so at least I can grab hazes at them, so let me know if you’re ever out and about. I’ll check out your posts to see what kind of stuff you’ve got going on but good to connect with ya

I sadly don’t have any outdoor space. No Bodega trash for me either. Just homegrown. I’ve been wanting to checkout one of the Gene Traders events or something, but haven’t gotten to it yet.
