Hey peeps, Im an old school grower/New member. Im super excited to share my love and passion for this amazing plant and even more pumped because I certainly feel I’ve finally found the right place. Theres so many here, some new, some old, some hot and some cold. But the #1 thing we all have in common… yup, this sacred herb! Excited to learn from others and expand mind and my skillset, make some New friends and grow together! So lets Overgrow the world!!
Back in the early 2000’s i fell into the Purdue Pharma push of Oxy. My Dr advocated for it and reassured me the risk was basically non existing for dependency and potential abuse. Foolishy i trusted him and started my journey on 30mg twice daily. Smh… as im sure you can imagine it didnt take long for me to start the decline and then the Purde days came to an end. I turned to the streets and found heroine and then fetynal. Sometime later got popped and took the fall along with my dealer. I sat several years for it, and started methadone while incarcerated. Once released i had a new take on life but i was still bound like a junkie going to the methadone clinic daily. I had enough of that poison, one day asked to start tappering down. The clinic wasnt so eager and so i saw myself nothing more than a fool paying a legal system that wasnt truly designed to help me. I had enough and finally my wife and family put me into detox. After a 2week stay and optimistic views i was still bound to a opiate drug, now subuxon. Released back into the world to fight my demons, i was again eager to tapper down my 3xs daily dose. Again, another doctor that didnt share the same enthusiasm. I said enough of this fucking money trap!! I turned to cannabis and started to cut my subs in halfs and then quarters, finally ending with 1/8ths of a full strip 2xs daily. Cannabis was the cure i was looking for and it truly did work. Its been 8yrs completely sober now and i haven’t had a single hiccup along the way. I owe my life to cannabis, my marriage and the relationship with my family and children. Ive never felt so free of my drug addiction before, and life just seems to make sense now and work out in my favor. Such a beautiful thing, never to be taken for granted ever again.
Finally the laws and states are changing, sadly im not in a green state. Complete prohibition here of delta9 and legal CBD and iffy delta8. But if my past experiences have taught me anytning, its this… Dont trust the MAN and were nothing more than sheep being farmed for our wool. Hearded, controlled and exploited. My health is of top priority and i have many things to live for now. I will never again trust the justice system, capatolistic enterprise and the pharmaceutical industry, and for that reason alone I will always grow my own until my final day.
I grow veganic and no-till just seems to make sense to me. I do love me a juicy med-rare steak tho. Nothing against vegans or vegetarian, but for cultivation purposes, veganic is about as pure and natural as the driven snow. And i firmly believe in sustainability and self reliance. Mother nature provides everything we need, its balanced and beautiful in harmony with life as we know.

Heres my current grow, simple and yet, sometimes challenging. Watering has been an issue and running multiple strains in a single bed has it ups and downs. They all seem to pull through to the end, but i know theres room for improvement. I may even grab an octopot 6 or 8 plant system. Not sure yet on the size, 3 or 6gal but i do love the flexibility with medicating with running of multiple strains. Hopefully some oxtopot growers will chime in. Id like to keep the supersoil attributes but have independent pots and bases. Not sure if i can keep my current soil structure or possibly add more pumice to it and play with supplementing additives with the supply water. Time will definitely tell and im adventurous, also willing to fail and learn.

Also an alien tech fem i was gifted back in the early 2000’s. It came from a buddy in Oregon and was kept as a mother. Severly pruned down to bare bones and looking sad in her 5gal bucket. I nursed her back, made clones and reversed a few for seeds. Made several back crosses and have been pleased with my efforts. I know the original was a male, so noway is this the original. But she stinks of putrid rotten garbage with a almost berry/incense tone.

White mendo OG. I made this outcrosing several years back and its probably the best hybrid i have for edibles. Not a heavy yielder, but thats never been a focus for me. She is very earthy with cedar and funky pepper.

Biker kush v2 from karma
This one is nice but not sure im gonna run her again as is. I do love the chunky flower set, but i think she would benefit from a different cultivation approach. One of the reason im debating octopots. Very loud pine and subtle citrus with minimal gassy funk.

12 out of 12, anytime i can get 100% strike rate im a happy camper. Now fingers crossed for a higher fem rate. I still welcome males too, but im weird about pollen that can go airborn. Ill be checking these daily when they get a bit bigger.

Thanks buddy, welcome back to the greener side of the fence!!! Ive lost several good friends i grew up with to crack and meth. Im still hearing to this day of a few that are overdosed found frozen stiff in alleys or my one buddy found naked in a dumpster, stabbed dozens of times, head to toe.

Ran out of my bio-char from last years outdoor veggies. Traditionally ive used fish hydrolysate and liquid kelp. It works and well i might add for my leafy greens and tomatoes. But this time around im playing with fermented extracts. Some FPE, FFE, Fox Farms Bushdoctor kangaroots, seed sprout extract, Microbe Life Hydroponics photosynthesis + and N free vitamin +aminos.
Been soaking for 5days now. Just checked on it this morning and ive got a bunch of yeast and tiny green specks of Trichoderma. I think its done and ill strain it and air dry. Plan to use it when i up-pot the seedlings to 1gal.

Hope everyone is well and well stocked!! Today is my last day home, back on the road for work come the morning. Did a little cleaning and organizing this morning, pre-staging tasks for when i return.
Flower tent is solid and steady. Waiting for the swell on all but 1. The white mendo goes 13/14 weeks, everything else is around 10. Currently in week 8.2 of true flower, 10.2 of 12/12. Blasting the girls with AC Infinity ionframe Evo6 turned down to lv.6 @ 20". Still seeing a bit of tip turnin burnt and curling. A few of them have started the V in the blades but are fine without bleaching and curl. May tune down to lv.5 before i take off. Id like to push them as much as i can but within reason. ZERO C02 enrichment. Holding steady at 1.3kPa lights ON and .90kPa lights off, still running 12/12.

Words cant describe how excited i am for this alien tech… pure fire that makes me choke so bad i gag. The smallest hit feels like a fucking gorilla is inside my chest thrashing to get out!! A high that lasts 5+ hrs and is almost an out of body experience for a good 1-2 hrs.
Space monkey outcross with the alien tech is taking on the dome top expression with any nugs that are top most and closest to the light. Others are cone shaped and are lower, they want to dome out but thats my bad with training. Super excited to sample this F2 but not till she’s post 10weeks. Once the swell comes, beercan buds are in order, and rock soild!!
Snipped a few ugly clawed out fans on the biker kush v2. Watering issues or light intensity. Im betting water. Eitherway, shes coming along nicely and has me eager to sample. Glad i took some cuts for the reveg. Ill do her justice in the next round. I can see potential in her, just gotta coax her to it with what she likes. I have a much better idea now. I rarely make the same mistakes twice.
White mendo OG is… well, what it is. Nothing special per say, but special in her own. Got some lowers that are swelling and the uppers are packing on the frost. No doubt due to the PPFD as im seeing some cupping on blades and especially dead center within the hotspot. Found a couple nanners too. Not cool!!! But 1200+ ppfd is gonna stress out any plant without c02. One of the reasons i bumped the light down 10%. I noticed the nanners show up a couple days ago and they haven’t elongated nor developed any more. I presume theyre sterile but plucked em out. Total of 6, so not the end of the world, ill continue to monitor and reassess when i return home.
Seedlings are doing great!!! Very happy with my soil mix and looks like they are too. Been up above ground for only a couple days. Temps are 78-80f and 60-62%. Ppfd is around 275 and on a 24hr lighting schedule.

Very nice. It’s nice to read a life story like that because so many times it doesn’t go that route.addiction is so crazy and anyone can sympathize or turn there back but if you haven’t experienced it then they don’t truly understand. I can’t wait to see your next run. I’ve got the killah gorilla an a few other tgtb packs will be popping some my next run. I try an stay organic to mix my own soil an do some ferments and dry amendments. Stay safe while you’re on the road

Thanks man. Your right as rain, alot of people just dont understand the demons of an addiction like that. And then, once you beat your demon, they dont seem to go away for some time. For years after i was plagued by psycosis. The demons kept calling to me, and cannabis was the only thing that made me strong mentally. Drugs are obviously bad but methadone i think was the absolute worst and no doubt fucked up my head for a long time after.
Nice, you’ve got KG too! Tag me when you bust em out. Im curious to see the different phenos produced from different growers. I haven’t been able to find much info on the web, only random images on google.

I’m not in a green state either. Haven’t built up the courage to start up a journal yet. Been growing about 2yrs. Auto /veg tent flower in spare bathroom. Might throw you a pic when I get to some tgtb gear next run Got black rose gg4ril midnight maddness auto j unit epiphany maybe 1 more. Flowering out CSI Humboldt mostly with 1 bodhi pirate sweat. 1200 ppf pushing them ladies. I usually stay at 1000 at the tops

I was eyeballin that GG4 RIL too, some fire in there for sure. The epiphany i got im really excited for!! CSI has some really nice gear too.
1000 is where i tend to stay also, but the mendo is the tallest and only a small bit of her is getting tagged with 1200. Thats where i found the couple nanners. I love the ACI ionframe series but they definitely have some drop-off in the perimeter and even more in the corners. I should have oversized my lighting and went with the evo8 but it would have been very very tight. So to save space & money i went evo6 and slapped on 2 s16 ionbeam kits to the frames. Bumps up my perimeter considerably.

Thanks. I use to make it, burnt out my hobby blender. Put alot of bluegills and crappies through that badboy. I wanted to try salmon for the next endeavor, all that fat and oil is where its at!!

Yeah I hate it took me awhile to find CSI then to get the courage to send cash in the mail. Needless to say I was blowed away when the package came. Now I’m kicking myself for not jumping on the yr end grab bag sale he had. People getting 10 or more packs for a hundo. An the variety in there was crazy. Stuff not even on his sight. Never thought I’d be a fanboy but guilty guilty guilty

I almost died from mixing k2 and Robitussin before, I fell in a fetal position and went somewhere else I guess I would say.

oh yeah weed stopped a bad k2 experience I had too one time. jwh-0018 was probably the culprit.
I assume the weed rebalanced my canna receptors or something
